Central Sector Scheme Scholarship For College & University Students 2015 Fresh:
It is notified for information of all those students who have passed their Annual Regular class 12th Examination Session, 2014-15 that the fresh list of eligible top 20% has been generated by MHRD under Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship (CSSS) through Ministry of Human Resource Development, (MHRD), New Delhi.

The top 20 % list is available on JKBOSE website www.jkbose.co.in and on National Scholarship Portal www.scholarships.gov.in.
As part of digital India initiative National e-Scholarship portal has been lunched. The eligible candidates have to apply online on the National e- Scholarship portal www.scholarships.gov.in after registering them on the website.
On successful completion of the application, it would be available for online validation to the university/college/institute in which the student is studying. All the heads of the University/College/Institutes are requested to register their institutions online on the above portal for speedy disposal and validation of the eligible students.
Eligibility Criteria:
The candidates in addition to above should full fill the following conditions:
** The overall income of the household should not exceed Rs. 6 lacs per annum.
** The candidate should be pursuing undergraduate courses in any stream within or outside J&K State. The institute where the candidate is pursuing undergraduate Courses must be recognized, by the concerned competent authority.
** The quantum of Scholarship is Rs. 10,000/- per annum for undergraduate courses i.e. Rs. 30,0000.00 for three years and Rs. 20,000/-per year during post graduate courses. The selection of candidates shall be strictly as per the state Quota and as per the merit in respective categories.
** The scholarships to the eligible candidates shall be credited directly in the personal account of students under Direct Benefit Transfer Scheme (DBT) after due scrutiny by Jammu & Kashmir State Board of School Education
