DRDO Scholarship Scheme
DRDO has launched “DRDO Scholarship Scheme for Girls through Aeronautics Research and Development Board (AR&DB), DRDO HQ.

Objective
This scholarship scheme would attract such women power from various institutes through a transparent process with an objective to tap the talent of bright students across the country.

ii. Candidate should have secured admission in the 1st year of the current academic year (2019-20) to the relevant ME/M.TECH / M.Sc Engg course. iii. Candidate must have scored minimum 60% marks in the qualifying exam (graduation level: BE/B Tech/B Engg. Or equivalent) for getting admission to the subject course as per the guidelines set by AICTE/MHRD. iv. Candidate should have a valid GATE (General Aptitute Test in Engineering) score. |
How to Apply?
Just follow the below steps to apply for the DRDO Scholarship Scheme 2019.
Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of RAC through the URL provided above.
Step 2 : Next click on the “Online Application Form” link under DRDO Scholarship Scheme for Girls
Step 3 : Fill the Registration Form with the required details and click on “Register” button.
Step 4 : After complete your registration, candidates login to your account with the registered email id and password.
Step 5 : Fill the Online application form consists of following sections viz.
** Step 1 – Biodata,
** Step 2 – Photograph & Documents,
** Step 3 – Submit & Lock.
Step 6 : On clicking “Lock Application” button the online application will get locked and submitted. Only locked applications will be deemed complete applications and shall be considered for further processing.
Step 7 : Candidate shall receive a copy of the submitted application on registered e-mail id and SMS on their registered mobile number after successfully submitting online application.
Note :
Applicants are not required to send print out of application form by post.
Selection Process
a) First year Under graduate (B.E./B.Tech./BSc. Engg.) scholarship (for 4-yr full time course) will be based on the merit of JEE (Main). Candidates without valid JEE (Main) score will not be considered.
b) First year Post graduate (M.E./M.Tech./M.Sc. Engg.) scholarship (for 2 yr full time course) will be based on the valid GATE score on merit basis. The candidates without valid GATE score will not be considered.
Terms & Conditions
** Once scholarship is discontinued to a candidate it will not be granted further, inspite of qualifying the eligibility in the later years.
** Students availing this scholarship will be entitled to avail only one scholarship at a time and an undertaking has to be furnished by the students and it should be countersigned by the institute that she is not availing any other scholarship from any other institute / department / agency.
** Candidates will have to produce all certificates, in original, for verification in the Institute and a certificate has to be forwarded to AR&DB in this regard by the institute where the student belongs.

** Applications without scanned copies of certificates for the requisite essential educational qualification or incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.
** Selected candidates will be considered for scholarship and will get scholarship through their respective Institute. The Institute has to submit the contingent bill with ECS mandate for all the candidates so selected for scholarship for release of money for scholarship.
** The offer of scholarship to the selected candidates will be restricted to the number of scholarship in order of merit. List of candidates selected for scholarship will be made available at AR&DB website
