GOKDOM Application For Minority “VIDYASIRI”
Department of Minority Welfare is launching “VIDYASIRI for Minority Students” ( Food and Accommodation Scheme) from year 2015-16 for the benefit of Minority community students.
Related / Similar Scholarship : GOKDOM Vidyasiri Incentive 2016-17
Minority students belongs to Muslim, Christian, Jain, Buddha, Parsi, Sikh communities who are studying in Post Metric courses (PUC upto Ph.D including Engineering and Medical Courses) and could not get admission in Hostels shall get Rs.1500/- per month for max 10 months in an academic year.
Eligibility
** He should be Indian national, permanent resident of Karnataka State.·
** He should belong to Minority communities, i.e., Muslim, Christian, Jain, Sikh, Buddha and Parsi as declared by Union or State government.
** He should be regular student of Government, Private Aided or Un Aided colleges studying in Post Metric Courses during current academic year 2015-16
** Annual income for
i. CAT-I (Nadaf, Pinjar, Darvesh, Chapparband, Kasab, Phool Mali-(Muslim) & converted Christians) should not exceed Rs.2.50 lakh per annum
ii. 2A (Buddha & other minority sub casts), 2B-Muslim, 3B (Christian, Jain) should not exceed Rs.2.00 lakh per annum.
** Distance between college and students permanent residence should be at least 5 KMs
** Students must have pass in previous year exam.
** ‘Vidyasiri’ shall be sanction on the basis of marks obtained by student & course etc.
** Completely filled application shall be submitted to District officer of Minority Welfare Dept/Backward Classes Dept of the district where college is located.
** Students who are taken Correspondence courses from open universities & Distance Education are Not Eligible to get this benefit.
** If any one apply this scheme by providing wrong information or students who are already taken admission in Govt. Hostels or private aided hostels run by any department, action will be taken as per law and whole amount shall be recovered.

2. You can also download it from our official Website .gokdom.kar.nic.in or from District Office, Minority Welfare Department/Backward Classes Dept.
3. Eligible students should submit the complete Application form along with necessary documents to District office, Minority Welfare Department/Backward Classes Dept of respective districts where college is located.

I don’t know to apply this Vidyashri minority scholarship. I did not get any online login or signup procedure.
I applied for e- pass. I took printout. Where shall I give it? What’s the next procedure? First I got BDS in Private college. Now I got in government college Ballary.
