SDAT Sports Scholarship
Sports Development Authority of Tamilnadu SDAT invites applications for Sports Scholarship Scheme for the year 2018-19.
Who Can Apply?
** Under the Sports Scholarship Scheme for the year 2018-2019 those who have secured medals during the period from 01.07.2017 to 30.06.2018 are eligible to apply. Each person may apply for any one of the discipline only.
** Students studying in High School / Higher Secondary School / College / University during 2018-2019 in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply.
Minimum Eligibility :
National Level Competition :
A) Should be a Medal winner in the National School Games conducted by SGFI/ National / Inter-State Championships conducted by National Sports Federations/ National Level Sports Competitions conducted by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India under Khelo India or National Games
i) Should have won first three places in Individual events or 1st or 2nd Place in Team Games.
B) The First year students of College / University should have won medals in Nationals conducted by School Games Federation of India. Other students should have won a medal in the All India Inter-University Competitions conducted by Association of India Universities.
Only the first three place holders in the individual events or first two place holders in the team games are eligible.
How to Apply?
Just follow the below steps to apply for the SDAT Sports Scholarship Scheme 2018-19.
Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of SDAT through provided above.
Step 2 : Next, read the instructions carefully and click on “Next” button.
Step 3 : Fill the application form with Personal details, Achievements and Bank details.
Step 4 : Finally click on “Submit” button to complete the application.
Step 5 : After submission of Application through Online, the applicants shall produce their original certificates within 7 working days to the District Sports and Youth Welfare Officers concerned for certificate verification.

** The email address and mobile number must be valid and functional as all communications would be sent only to the registered email address and mobile number.

Before filling the online application form, the following documents should be scanned and saved as per the format mentioned below

** Bonafide certificate from school/College (Signed by the HM/Principal of the School/College)
** Merit certificates of Sports Achievements.
