Eligibility Criteria

Follow the below conditions to apply for Post Matric Scholarship in Bihar.
1) The candidates must be the resident of Bihar state. Submit the proof of residence like Domicile certificate
2) The candidate must be studying in any recognized institute of government /govt. aided in the Bihar state.

3) The candidate must belongs to Backward classed/ Extreme Backward classes- Submit Caste certificate
4) The candidates parent’s or family annual income should not exceed Rs. One Lac from all sources. The Income Certificate is required in this regard.
5) Two candidates from one parents are eligible to apply for Post Matric Scholarship in Bihar.

How to Apply?

Just follow the below steps to apply for the BC – EBC Post Matric Scholarship 2019.

Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of National Scholarship Portal through the URL provided above.
Step 2 : Then Select State Schemes tab and Click on Bihar in the drop down list.

Step 3 : After that Click Apply link in the “BC – EBC Post Matric Scholarship” under Bihar.

Step 4 : It will redirect to the Login Page. Enter your Application Id, Password and Captcha for Login.

Step 5 : After Login to your account select the Scholarship scheme and fill the required details to apply for the scholarship.
Step 6 : If you are a New User then Click on the Register link in the Login Page.

Step 7 : Enter all required details for registration to get your user id and password. After register your account you can Login and apply the scholarship.
Step 8 : After complete your application you will get a confirmation message to your registered email id & mobile number.

Documents Required

Upload the following certificates required to be submitted with applicant application form.
i. Last Passed Examination Paper
ii. Madwar Agreed Statement of Mandatory Fee for the Education Institute.
iii. Certificate of accreditation of the studied institution
iv. Host certificate
v. Guardian’s declaration
vi. The shadow copy of the first page of the bank pass book is attached.

Scholarship Details

To encourage the Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class students for education and to grant the financial help to the students for this purpose Pre Metric Scholarship scheme is introduced.

At present 12 Extremely Backward class girls hostel + 2 higher secondary schools are running to encourage the girls for education by department. In this school 6-12 class education facility are present and other facility like free food, reading and learning material, library, oil and soap etc also provided.

At present 12 OBC welfare hostel are running for Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class student Who are living in typical condition in rural area but interested in doing higher education. 22 hostels are also constructed at final stage in other District.
