Pearl Academy invites applications for Merit-cum-Means Scholarship for the year 2019-20
New Entrants
Pearl Academy awards Merit-cum-Means Scholarship is offered to new entrants (all centers) in regular UG / PG / Masters Programs at the time of admission, for first year only, to attract meritorious students with limited means to benefit from world class education in, Design, Fashion & Business offered at the Academy
MCM Eligibility
1. Merit Criterion :
** For UG applicants – Academic Performance in 10th & 12th examination as well as Pearl entrance exam/personal interview/studio test.
** For PG applicants – Academic Performance in 12th & Graduation as well as Pearl entrance exam/ /personal interview/Studio Test.
2. Means Criterion :
** Annual gross parental/family income from all sources – maximum Rs. 6,00,000 (criteria as per Govt. of India notification).
3. Additional Weightage :
** Wards of single parents.
Existing Students
Merit Scholarship (Course Toppers) will be awarded annually to students who have topped (1st rank) their respective cohorts, subject to class size of minimum 30 students.
Merit Scholarship (Course Toppers) is subject to –
** Course Topper achieving the minimum prescribed standards of achievement (Higher Second Class in UG/First Class in PG/Commendation in Masters Program – i.e., min. 60%).
** Awardee maintaining the minimum prescribed aggregate attendance.
** No disciplinary proceedings against the awardee.
In case of class strength is below 30 (but not lesser than 20), the Merit Scholarship will be awarded to the Topper (1st Rank) subject to achieving [UG – minimum 70% marks, i.e., First Class and PG – Distinction].
MCM Application Procedure
Just follow the below steps to apply for the Merit-cum-Means Scholarship 2019-20.
Steps :
Step 1 : Visit the official website of Pearl Academy through provided above.
Step 2 : Prescribed Scholarship Application Forms with detailed eligibility criteria are available in all Pearl Centers, uploaded on the Pearl website.
Step 3 : Download the application form from the official website or you can directly download it from below mentioned link.

Step 4 : Fill the application form with the required details and should submit their scholarship application along with their ‘Application Form for Admissions 2019’ (Annexure-III) supported by attested copies of all requisite documents.
Note :
** Merit-cum-Means scholarship will be continued for subsequent years, on the condition that the student fulfills eligibility conditions/criteria of annual gross parental/family income and academic performance (as notified from time to time) at the institution.
** All eligible students desirous of availing Merit-cum-Means Scholarship (new entrants) are required to submit fresh applications every year along with attested copies of requisite documents.
Scholarship Benefits
The Merit-cum-Means Scholarship (new entrants) provides partial waiver of tuition fee to a maximum of 10% of new entrants.
Merit-cum-Means Scholarship waives payment of Tuition Fee only for the current Academic Year (First Year only) in the following categories
** Category 1 – 50% waiver of Tuition fee
** Category 2 – 25% waiver of Tuition fee
