University Grants Commission invites applications from interested Indian students under Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme for the year 2019-20.

The Hungarian Govt. has offered Scholarships for 200 Indian students to pursue Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral studies in Hungary

Eligibility

1. Must be an Indian citizen.
2. At least 18 years of age or applicants born after 31st August, 2000 shall not be considered.
3. Must possess a secondary school graduation certificate by 1st August, 2018.
4. Must possess at least 60% in the last examination passed.
5. Must have completed his/ her last study programme from a recognized Indian educational Institute only.

However, students who have availed Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship may apply provided they apply for a different/ higher level of study programme.

How to Apply?

All applications shall be submitted through the online application system of Tempus Public Foundation. Just follow the below steps to apply for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme 2019-20.

Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the following link [https://apply.stipendiumhungaricum.hu/
Step 2 : Then Confirm your citizenship
Step 3 : Next click on “Become an applicant” button in the right top corner of the page.

Step 4 : Please fill in the required fields to create your applicant account.
Step 5 : If you already have an account, please Sign In with your Applicant Code

Step 6 : After registration, the applicants are able to access the application surface and upload the required documents.

Note :
Applications should be submitted, saved applications will not be considered. Please note that no applications will be accepted without the online submission and after the Last Date.

Step 7 : The applicant shall also submit an application in the prescribed format to the University Grants Commission along with a print out of the online application by 31st January, 2019.

Documents Required

Documents (Photocopies) to be submitted in the following order
1. UGC application (filled).
2. Online Application without annexures.
3. Date of Birth Certificate/ xth Certificate showing date of birth.
4. XIIth Mark sheet.
5. Graduation Degree & Marksheet.
6. Post Graduation Degree & Marksheet.
7. A Copy of Passport or any other valid ID proof of citizenship

Terms & Conditions

** An application shall be considered by the UGC only when the candidate applies online by following appropriate procedure.
** Incomplete application, application without relevant documents and application received after due date shall not be considered.
** Before applying, the applicant should ascertain that the programme applied is open for Indian students.
