Professional Education Courses (BS-PEC) :

Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation (ABC) Limited, a Government of Andhra Pradesh undertaking, is introducing “Bharati Scheme for Professional Education Courses” (BS-PEC) for the poor Brahmin students in Andhra Pradesh.

Under this scheme, an amount of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty thousand only) shall be paid to the selected applicants as one time financial assistance through the prescribed process.

Objective:
To encourage poor Brahmin students pursue Professional Educational Courses with financial assistance.

Scope:
This scheme is applicable for students of Andhra Pradesh covering all 13 districts, who are studying in
Professional Educational Courses 1st year or 2nd year or 3rd year or 4th year in the academic Year 2015-16.

Eligibility:
** The student and his / her parents should belong to Brahmin community and parents should reside in Andhra Pradesh.
** Annual income of Parents / Guardian should not be more than Rs. 3,00,000/-(Rupees Three lakhs only).
** Should have studied Intermediate or SSC in any of the 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh.
** Should have got admission in any Professional Education course in Andhra Pradesh or any other State in India. OR Should have passed 1st Year or 2nd Year or 3rd year of Professional Education Course and studying 2nd Year or 3rd Year or 4th year of Professional Course in the academic year 2015-16 in Andhra Pradesh or any other State in India.
** Those poor Brahmin students who have got admission into Professional Educational Courses and getting benefitted from fee reimbursement scheme shall continue to do so. The purpose of the present scheme run by the Corporation is to provide financial assistance for purchase of books, other educational materials, payment of hostel fees & boarding charges and other incidental expenses

Application Procedure:

Notification shall be released for the scheme, by 1 August 2015

Eligible candidates shall fill their application online (www.andhrabrahmin.org) in the prescribed format. (In case of any difficulty contact 040-2476 7879)

Upload Scan Color copy of Passport Size Photo in JPEG Format only – upto 50 KB

Applicant should upload the scanned copies (in pdf only – Min 50 KB – Max 150 KB size each)of the following documents:
** Aadhar Cards of the student and parents / guardian.
** Caste certificate issued by competent authority (Revenue Inspector).
** Income Certificate issued by competent authority (Revenue Inspector).
** Proof of study in Andhra Pradesh (Marks Sheets Intermediate or SSC)
** Proof of Admission into Professional Education course for 1st Year Professional Education Course OR Study certificate from college for 2nd year or 3rd year or 4th Year Professional Education Course students in Andhra Pradesh or any other State.
** Marks sheet of Intermediate for 1st Year Professional Education Course Student and marks sheet 1st year or 2nd Year or 3rd year Professional Education Course for 2nd year or 3rd Year or 4th Year Professional Education Course students.
** Copy of SB Account in any Nationalized Bank (account must be in the name of applicant)
** Passport size photograph (in jpeg format upto 50 KB)

Selection process:
Scrutinising, short-listing, personal interviewing (wherever required) and finalisation of applicants shall be done by the State Level Committee (SLC), giving priority to the following categories:
** Orphan
** Single mother
** Physically challenged
** Girl student
** Economically very poor

One time financial assistance of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty thousand only) will be credited online to the SB Accounts of selected applicants on or before 30 September 2015.

Beneficiaries will not exceed 10% of total from any district as far as possible.

State Level Committee is authorised to make exceptions in the eligibility / selection process and their decision will be final.
