Bharati Scheme For Education Degree :

Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation (ABC) Limited, a Government of Andhra Pradesh undertaking, is introducing “Bharati Scheme for Education – Degree 2nd and 3rd Year” (BS-D2D3) for the poor Brahmin students in Andhra Pradesh.

Under this scheme, an amount of Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen thousand only) shall be paid to the selected applicants as one time financial assistance through the prescribed process.

Objective :
To encourage poor Brahmin students pursue education – Degree 2nd year or 3rd Year with one time financial assistance.

Scope:
This scheme is applicable for poor Brahmin students of Andhra Pradesh covering all 13 districts, who are studying Degree 2nd year or 3rd year in the academic year 2015-16.

Eligibility :
** The student and his/her parents should belong to Brahmin community and reside in Andhra Pradesh.
** Annual income of Parents / Guardian should not be more than Rs. 2,50,000/- (Rupees Two lakhs Fifty thousand only).
** Should have passed 1st Year Degree or 2nd year Degree and studying 2nd Year Degree or 3rd year Degree in the academic year 2015-16 in Andhra Pradesh.
** Should not have availed himself/ herself any amount under any other Government scheme for the same purpose.

Application Procedure:
Notification shall be released for the scheme, by 18 July 2015

Eligible candidates shall fill their application online (www.andhrabrahmin.org) in the prescribed format. (In case of any difficulty contact 040 24767879)

Applicant should upload the scanned copies (in pdf of min 50 kb to max 150 kb size each) of the following documents:
** Aadhar Cards of the student and parents / guardian.
** Caste certificate issued by competent authority (Revenue Inspector).
** Income Certificate issued by competent authority (Revenue Inspector).
** Marks Sheet of 1st year Degree or 2nd Year Degree.
** Study certificate from College
** Copy of SB Account in Andhra Bank (account must be in the name of applicant).
** Passport size photograph (in jpeg format upto 50 kb).
Selection Process:

Scrutinising, short-listing and finalisation of applicants shall be done by the State Level Committee (SLC), giving priority to the following categories:
** Orphan
** Single mother
** Physically challenged
** Girl student
** Economically very poor

One time financial assistance of Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen thousand only) will be credited online to the SB Accounts of selected applicants on or before 15 September 2015.

Beneficiaries will not exceed 10% of total from any district as far as possible.

State Level Committee is authorised to make exceptions in the eligibility / selection process and their decision will be final.
