Meghalaya Financial Assistance/Grant in-Aid
The Deputy Commissioner, East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat has informed that proposals are invited for availing of Financial Assistance/Grant in-Aid for the year 2018-19.
Meghalaya Scholarships 2018-19 :
1. Pre-Matric Scholarship For ST Students
2. Post-Matric Scholarship For ST Students
3. CSSS Central Sector Scholarship Scheme
4. NEC Scholarship Fresh & Renewal For SC/ST Students
5. Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship For Minority Students
Who Can Apply?
Non Governmental Organizations/Clubs/Self Help Groups of East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat for availing of Financial Assistance/Grant in-Aid under the Chief Minister Youth Development scheme to Conduct of Youth Festival, Youth Programmes, Awareness programme/Seminar related to Youth Problem, Youth Development, Youth Adventure Programmes and Youth Counselling and Rehabilitation.
How to Apply?
Interested Organizations/Clubs/SHGs/Youth Group etc. are to submit their proposals in plain paper along with the detail of the Programme/activities, objectives along with Registration Certificate to the office of the District Planning Officer, East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat on or before 2nd November, 2018.
Note :
No proposals will be entertained after the fixed date mentioned above.
Selection Procedure
** The Financial Assistance to be sanctioned under this scheme will depend on the merit of the application/proposal.
** The proposals received from the NGOs/SHGs shall be scrutinized by the District Level Screening Committee and the decision of the Committee will be final.

Last date to submit the application for availing of Financial Assistance/Grant in-Aid is 2nd November, 2018.
Information & Public Relations Department :
Headed by the Commissioner and Secretary, assisted by the Deputy Secretary at the Secretariat level, the Directorate is headed by the Director assisted by the Deputy Director and a team of Public Relation Officers.
At the field levels, the District Public Relations Officers and the Sub-Divisional Public Relations Officers head the Districts and the Sub-Division units respectively.
For accomplishing the publicity works the Department functions through its different units; namely press unit, publication Unit, Advertisement unit, Field Publicity Unit, Video Production Unit and Photo Unit.
