HP e-PASS Scholarship Registration

Online Applications for State and Centre Sponsored Scholarship Schemes for the Session 2018-19 are invited on HP e-PASS Portal

Who Can Apply?

Students of the State and Meritorious students, studying in any Govt./ Govt.-Aided/ Private Affiliated Institution, within or outside the state are eligible for the award of Scholarship under various State and Centre Sponsored Scholarship Schemes being implemented by the Education Department

How to Apply?

Just follow the below steps to apply for the HP e-PASS Scholarship Registration 2018-19.

Student Registration

Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of HP e-PASS provided above.
Step 2 : Click on the “Apply Online” button below Student login.

Step 3 : Read the Instructions carefully and Mark the checkbox at the end of the page certifying “I have read the Instructions. Proceed to Registration / Login Page

Step 4 : First time users click on “Register”, which would take you to the “Student Registration Form”

Step 5 : Enter your basic details (like AADHAAR Details (UID / EID), Name, Date of Birth, Father & Mother Name, Category, Mobile No. & Email) on the form, match the Security Captcha, and Click on “Register”.

(Please note that either Mobile No. or Email address would be mandatory, as the computer generated Password would be sent through SMS / e-Mail on Registration).

Step 6 : Once registered, then enter your login details “Login Id/ AADHAAR & Password”, and click on “Login”

Step 7 : After Login, the student needs to fill the various details in the following order
(a) Primary Details
(b) Candidate Details
(c) Present Institution Details
(d) Contact Details
(e) Bank Details
(f) Certificates Details

Step 8 : The Student can edit / update or fill his form in parts, then take a printout of Online Application Form, and submit the same along with the Scheme Specific Document(s) to the respective Institution, within the stipulated time as mentioned in the Schedule above.

Step 9 : After successful submission of his Online Application Form, it would be automatically forwarded to his Institute for verification.

Step 10 : After that the Student can check the status of his online application, any time, by login in at the ePass Website, and keep a track of all progress

Institutions Registration

Step 1 : Visit the HP e-PASS Portal official website and Click on the “Institution Registration” link in the home page.
Step 2 : Read the Instructions carefully and Mark the checkbox “I have read all above general instructions”

Required Documents

Essentially required uploading of documents for registration of institution
a. Affiliation documents / Approval letter of Affiliation
b. List of Courses being offered by the institution and course wise intake of seats
c. Copy of institutions State Government/Fee Rationalization Committee/Fee Fixation Committee approved fee structure.
d. Course wise applicable compulsory non-refundable fee on Institutions letter head.

Instructions

** Registration will only be applicable for enlisting the institution on HP ePASS Portal, whereas for registration on National Scholarship Portal institutions will have done on www.scholarships.gov.in separately.

** Students will not be able to apply online for Scholarships on HP ePASS Portal without the registration / enlisting of students institution on the HP ePASS Portal.

** Director of Hr. Education, Himachal Pradesh, reserve the right to reject the registration of institution at any stage without assigning any reason.

** If any uploaded information or document found incorrect or fictitious at any stage the concerned institution will be sole responsible for that. The Department may initiate appropriate action /legal action against the defaulter.

Last Date

** Last Date for Online Registration on HP e-PASS Portal for New Institutions Registration for the year 2018-19 is started w.e.f. 04-10-2018 to 31-12-2018.

** The Format for New Institutions Registration must be submitted in this Directorate through E-mail Hard copy upto 31-12-2018.

** Last Date of Registration / Submission of Online Scholarship Application by the Students (studying within outside the state) 31st December 2018 (04-10-2018 to 31-12-2018)

** Last Date of taking a printout of Online Application Form submitting the same along with the Scheme Specific Document(s) by the student(s) to their respective Institution(s). 31-12-2018.

Note :
Out of State Students are advised to mention the following address on the Form (where the form needs to be sent) while submitting the Print out other documents to the concerned institution Director of Higher Education Himachal Pradesh Shimla 171001.
