Merit-cum-Means Scholarship 2015:
The objective of the scheme is to award Merit-cum-Means scholarships to deserving students belonging to economically weaker sections of society so as to provide them better opportunities for higher education increase their rate of attainment in higher education and enhance their employability.

Eligibility:
** The scholarships are open for studies in lndia and for lndian nationals only.
** Candidate should be a student of Graduate Engineering of llTs or NlTs.
** Candidate should have obtained minimum 65% marks in 12th class.
** For existing students at llT/NlTs, Grade Point Average should be atleast 6.5 in 10 points scale system.
** Gross annual income of family of the candidate from all sources should not be more than Rs.6.00 lakhs per annum. Students having lowest family income shall be given preference in the ascending order.
** The age. limit of the appli-ant is maximum 25 years as on 1st of October, 2015 for Academic the Session.
** The candidates should not be availing or intend to avail any other financial assistance/scholarship from any other source. However, in case of siulent oi getting fee waiver/reimbursement of tuition fees are eligible for applying for the scholarship.
How To Apply:
Complete application with all the.supporting documents as mentioned in the application form duly certified and forwaded by their Head/Dean/Principal of Institute/College should reach the designated address as per the details given in appiicltion-iormat.
Along with the documents, Students have to submit an Essay,in his own handwriting on “why do l want to become an Engineer’, (Not more than 300 words)
Last date for submission of duly completed application form is 5th September 2015
