Online applications are invited from Students belonging to Minority Communities for awarding Scholarships under Post-Matric Scholarship Schemes for the Session 2018-19.

Who Can Apply?
** Students must be a citizen of India and domicile of Punjab
** Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination
** The annual income of whose parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.00 lakh.
** Students belongs to Minority Community Students (i.e. Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Sikh, Zoroastrian (Parsi) and Jain)
How to Apply?
Website for filing up of Online Application is National Scholarship Portal. Just follow the below steps to apply for the Post Matric Scholarship Fresh & Renewal 2018-19.

Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of National Scholarship Portal
Step 2 : For Fresh Registration students click on the New Registration link in the home page and fill-up the entry form by entering complete details to get the Registration ID.
Step 3 : All Renewal applicants/students (who have got scholarship during 2017-18) may apply by giving their existing Application ID;
Note :
** Print out of the online application along with attested photocopies of supporting documents is to be submitted to the concerned institutes.
** The same set of documents shall also be submitted to the Directorate of Minority Affairs, if the same are not uploaded on the portal while submitting online application.
Documents Required
The list of documents to be scanned & uploaded for both Fresh and Renewal Scholarships as under
a) Student Photo. (Mandatory).
b) Institution Verification Form. (Mandatory).
c) Self declaration of Income Certificate by the student. (Mandatory).
d) Self declaration of community by the student. (Mandatory).
e) In case of Fresh – Self Attested Certificate of ‘Previous Academic Mark sheet’ as filled in Form. (Mandatory).
f) In case of Renewal – Self-Attested Certificate of Previous Year Mark sheet as filled in the Form. (Mandatory).
g) Fee Receipt of current course year. (Mandatory).
h) Proof of Bank Account in the name of student. (Mandatory).
i) Aadhaar Card (optional).
j) Residential Certificate. (Mandatory).
Selection Procedure
** Students from BPL families, having the lowest income shall be given preference in the ascending order.
** The renewal applications would be fully exhausted before the new applications are considered.
Conditions For Scholarship
** Scholarships will not be given to more than two students in a family.
** Scholarship will not be awarded for more than the normal period of time taken to obtain Certificate/Degree/M. Phil Degree/Doctorate Degree.
** The students should be regular in attendance for which the yardstick will be decided by the competent authority of the school/college/university.
** Course fee/tuition fee and maintenance allowance will be credited directly to the students’ bank account.
** If a student is found to have obtained a scholarship by false statement/certificates, his/her scholarship will be cancelled forthwith and the amount of the scholarship paid shall be recovered, at the discretion of the concerned State Government/Union Territory Administration.
