Admission 2015-16:

Two Year Master of Education (M.Ed) (Four Semesters):
A pass in B.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed. / B.A.Ed / M.Sc.Ed or equivalent degree with 50% marks in aggregate.

Candidates of Southern States and Union Territories of Lakshadweep and Puducherry are eligible to apply.

NCERT Scholarship :

@ 1200/- pm: (only for M.Ed):
All the Scheduled Caste/ Schedule Tribe students admitted to the Institute will be awarded scholarship, provided they are not receiving financial assistance from any other source.

Fifty per cent of the students excluding SC / ST category are awarded scholarship on merit cum means as per NCERT rules.

In addition to this, 20% of the remaining students will be awarded free-ship as per rules. The selected candidates should submit parental Income Certificate at the time of admission. . Scholarship / Freeship are linked to parental income.

Application forms can be downloaded from the website or can be collected in person / by post from the Institute.

Duly filled in application form along with DD for Rs.500/- (Rs. 2501for SC/ ST / PH) and attested copies of certificates should be sent by Registered Post AD to the Section Officer ,Academic Section. Regional lnstitute of Education, Mysore 570 006.
