Maharashtra Directorate of Higher Education provides Scholarship to Meritorious Students Possessing Mathematics /Physics
MahaDBT Scholarship Scheme :
1. Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Hostel Maintenance Allowance
2. Post Matric Scholarship to SBC Students
3. Post Matric Scholarship to OBC Students
4. Assistance to Meritorious Students Scholarship
5. Maintenance Allowance For Professional Course Students
Who Can Apply?
** Students admitted for science graduation and having maths or physics as a main subject are eligible to apply this scholarship.
** For Fresh – Candidate must secure 60 Percentage in 12th standard.
** Need to get in 12th std with at least 60% in science exam and more than 60% in Maths & Physics.
** The applicant must be a resident of the Maharashtra State.
** Maharashtrian Students studying Out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme.
** He is not awarded any other scholarship of State & Central Government.
How to Apply?
Just follow the below steps to apply for the Scholarship to Meritorious Students Possessing Mathematics /Physics.
Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of Aaple Sarkar DBT Portal through the URL https://mahadbtmahait.gov.in/home/index
Step 2 : New User click on the “New Applicant Registration” link in the home page.
Step 3 : Next Enter your Aadhaar Number and Choose your Authentication Type then click on Send OTP button for verification
Step 4 : Fill the remaining details to complete your registration
Step 5 : After registration, you have to login with your registered Username and Password
Note :
** Click on Forgot Password, if you forgot your password entered while registration
** Click on Forgot User Name, if you forgot your User Name entered while registration
Step 6 : Select the scheme “Maintenance Allowance For Student Studying In Professional Courses” under Social Justice & Special Assistance category.
Step 7 : Then fill the required fields to apply for the scholarship. Applicant must check that all details provided by him/her are correct before final submission, as there will be no provision to edit details thereafter.

** Domicile Certificate
** College Bonafide Certificate.
Benefits :
As Per GR Dated 05.02.2004, Rs. 100 per month. Selection of Candidates Is on Merit basis.

Selection of Candidates Is on Merit basis .New sanction process done through DHE office and Renewal sanction process done through joint director office of concern colleges.

1. What is Aaple Sarkar DBT?
Aaple Sarkar DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) is a portal launched by Government of Maharashtra to transfer the benefits and subsidies of various social welfare schemes like E-Scholarships, Pension, Disaster, etc., directly into the bank account of the beneficiary.
2. How to check the status of application after submission?
Login to the MahaDBT Portal, under the Application Tracking menu, the applicant can see the status of their application by entering the valid Application ID.
3. Can we register/change mobile number online?
For any online update request, including updation of mobile number, resident should already have an active number registered with UIDAI where person can receive OTP SMS and authenticate himself/herself. Otherwise you would need to visit nearest UIDAI permanent enrollment center.
4. Can the application form be edited after submission?
Yes, If the Institute sends back the application to student for modification in that case applicant can modify some specific fields.
