MAHA DBT MAHAIT Assistance to Meritorious Students

Maharashtra Directorate of Higher Education provides Assistance to Meritorious Students scholarship Junior and Senior Level.

MahaDBT Scholarship Scheme :

1. Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Hostel Maintenance Allowance

2. Post Matric Scholarship to SBC Students 

3. Post Matric Scholarship to OBC Students

4. Maintenance Allowance For Professional Course Students

5. Education Concession Ex-Serviceman Children

6. Scholarship to Meritorious Students Possessing Mathematics /Physics

7. Education Concession Freedom Fighter Children

Eligibility

1) AMS Scholarship Junior Level :
** The students from 11 & 12th class are eligible who gets top rank in secondary and higher secondary examinations.
** For Renewal – Junior level student must possess 55% marks should have admission to next class.
** DHE sanctioned letter
** Maharashtrian Students studying Out of Maharashtra can apply for this scheme.

2) AMS Scholarship Senior Level :
** The students after 12th are eligible who gets top rank in secondary and higher secondary examinations.
** For Renewal – Senior level students must possess 65% marks and should have admission to next class.
** DHE sanctioned letter.
** Maharashtrian Students studying Out of Maharashtra can apply for this scheme.

How to Apply?

Just follow the below steps to apply for the Assistance to Meritorious Students scholarship.

Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of Aaple Sarkar DBT Portal through the URL https://mahadbtmahait.gov.in/home/index

Step 2 : New User click on the “New Applicant Registration” link in the home page.

Step 3 : Next Enter your Aadhaar Number and Choose your Authentication Type then click on Send OTP button for verification

Step 4 : Fill the remaining details to complete your registration

Step 5 : After registration, you have to login with your registered Username and Password

Note :
** Click on Forgot Password, if you forgot your password entered while registration
** Click on Forgot User Name, if you forgot your User Name entered while registration

Step 6 : Select the scheme “Maintenance Allowance For Student Studying In Professional Courses” under Social Justice & Special Assistance category.

Step 7 : Then fill the required fields to apply for the scholarship. Applicant must check that all details provided by him/her are correct before final submission, as there will be no provision to edit details thereafter.

Documents Required

** Previous Year Mark sheet.
** Fee receipt of current year.
** Hostel Fee Receipt.
** DHE Scholarship sanctioned letter.

Benefits

AMS Junior level :
Scholarship amount sanction as per Government Rule varies from course to course 11th – 12th – Rs.1600/- to Rs. 2300/-

AMS Senior level :
Scholarship amount sanction as per Government Rule varies from course to course from Rs.2800 to 72000/- plus.

FAQs

1. Have multiple accounts, where will i receive the money?
Please give your copy of Aadhaar letter with your bank account number written on it or copy of your bank passbook to the bank where you want to receive the funds. The bank may require you to fill a form as well. Updating your mobile number in bank is also advisable.

This will send out SMS alerts when you get DBT in account or you transact on your account. Please note that the bank account which has been seeded last with the Aadhaar number will be the one to receive money through DBT.

2. How to check the status of application after submission?
Login to the MahaDBT Portal, under the Application Tracking menu, the applicant can see the status of their application by entering the valid Application ID.

3. Can the application form be edited after submission?
Yes, If the Institute sends back the application to student for modification in that case applicant can modify some specific fields.

4. Can the application form be stored in draft mode?
Yes, the Applicant can able to store the application form in draft mode.

5. For Aadhaar-Bank linking staus?
