Scholarship -Objectives:
** To provide a facility to students to apply online for scholarship through Institution
** Work flow based system
** To facilitate quicker processing of scholarship applications of the student
** To bring in more transparency by providing a facility to students to view the status of the scholarship application through the website
** More effective monitoring by State Directorate
Scholarship –Work Flow Process:
** Students apply for scholarships through institution online
** Student id is generated which will be used for tracking the status of the application on the web
** The Principal forwards the group of applications to the District Office and batch number is generated to the group
** Assistant in the District BC & MBC Office
** Acknowledges the receipt of the applications for batchscruntisesthe applications, enter the details of recommendation and forwards the same to the District Officer.
** District officer reviews the applications and sanctions the eligible cases
** The District Assistant generates the Sanction Order and print it
** In case of rejection, the officer updates the reason.
** Cheque details are entered by the District Assistant and dispatched to Institution
** SMS Alert generated to Students on cheque preperation
** After the receipt of the Chequesf rom the District Office, the Institution clerk enters the details of cheque /cash disbursed to the students
** Provision to enter the courses/fees by Institution and approval by District Officers
** Work flow process to handle the online application for the Institution is enabled only after approval of Courses & Fees by District Office
Adi-Dravidar SC/ ST Scholarship:
Eligibility Criteria:
** Community –SC or ST or SCC
** Annual Income should be within 2 Lakhsfor SC
** Annual Income should be within 1.45 Lakhsfor ST
** Annual Income should be within 1 Lakhsfor SCC
** For Arts & Science students, Polytehnic, Education, Techer Tranning
If income exceeds 2 lakhs, Students are entitled for scholarship except maintenance allowance.
Minorities Welfare Scholarship:
Eligibility Criteria:
** Community –BC
** Caste – Christian , Muslim
** Annual Income should be within 2 Lakhs for bBC
** For Arts & Science students, polytechnic, Education, Teacher Traning.
If income exceeds 2 lakhs, Students are entitled for scholarship except maintenance allowance.
*Bc/Mbc Welfare Scholarship:
Eligibility Criteria:
** Community – BC/MBC/DNC
** Annual Income should be within 1.45 Lakhsfor ST
** Admission on via Only On Govt Counseling via in MBA, MCA students
** For MASS College Arts & Science students, If income exceeds 2 lakhs, Students are entitled for scholarship except maintenance allowance.
Center Sector Scheme Scholarship:
Eligibility Criteria:
** Community – BC/MBC/DNC/SC/ST/SCC
** Annual Income should be within 1.45 Lakhs.
** This scholarship providing the Above 955 marks in Higher Secondary Level.
** For MASS College of Arts & Science only.
