“Kiran” is a Scholarship Program for girls pursuing B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology, MSc Computer Science/ Bioinformatics/ MCA. The Scholarship is given to 40 selected girls.

Who Can Apply?

** First year engineering girls pursuing Computer Science/ Information Technology course with 70% marks in 10th and 12th standard
** Second year Engineering Girls pursuing Computer Science/ Information Technology course with 70% marks in 10th and 60% in final year Diploma

** First year MSc Bioinformatics, MSc Computer Science and Master of Computer Application [MCA] girls with 70% marks in 12th and 60% in graduation

** The candidate is pursuing the course mentioned above in a college within Pune District | Nagpur District | Goa | Hyderabad City | Bengaluru City
** Annual family income is less than INR 5.00 lakhs

14. Enter Your JEE Score (If Applicable)

16. Select the Course *
17. Enter the % in SSC *
18. Enter the % of HSC
19. Enter the % in Diploma Final Year
20. Enter the % in Graduation – Applicable to MSC Computer Science, MCA, MSC Bioinformatics

Step 5 : Accept the declaration, answer the security question and finally click on the Submit button

Scholarship Amount

Maximum INR 40,000/- per year to selected girls, till the completion of Graduation (maximum 4 years in case of B. E.\ B. tech, maximum 2 years in case of MSc Computer Science/ Bioinformatics/ MCA).

Additional help to Scholarship Girls :
A mentoring program helps the girls for the overall career development. Under this program, some group activities are arranged in which experts guide these girls about the studies and career development.

Also soft skill development workshops are arranged. Efforts are made to provide a mentor to each girl during the scholarship period.

Selection Procedure

** Shortlisted candidates will be called for first round of test/interviews.
** Shortlisted candidates from the first round of test/interviews will be called for second round of interviews.
** Final list of selected candidates will be declared by the end of October 2018.

Continuation of scholarship is subject to :
** Achievement of 55% of marks without any backlog by the candidate for the previous year.
** Attendance to Training & Personal/Group mentoring programs organized by Persistent Foundation is mandatory.
