State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Haryana is inviting applications for NTSE National Talent Search Examination for the year 2019-20.

Who Can Apply?

** Student is below the age of 18 years (as on 1st July of the particular year), the student is not employed and she/he is appearing in class X examination for the first time.

** Students registered under Open Distance Learning (ODL) will also be eligible for scholarship

How to Apply?

Just follow the below steps to apply for the State Level National Talent Search Examination 2019-20.

Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of SCERT Haryana through the URL https://scertharyana.gov.in/

Step 2 : Then click on the Scert “NTSE L-1/HScTSS /NMMS Exam” link in the left side of the home page.

Step 3 : Next Click “Online Application Form for NTSE L-1/HScTSS 2019-20” link under NTSE L-1/HScTSS/NMMS

Step 4 : Fill the Application Form with the required fields and finally click on the Submit button.

Step 5 : After submitting the application, you will be assigned the Username & Password , take a printout and keep it Confidential and Safe.

** Data will not be saved without clicking “Submit” button, click on “ submit” button to save the details filled by you.

Exam Pattern

The National Talent Search Examination will be conducted for students studying at the Class X level. The examination consists of tests, namely Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). The items in the MAT and SAT are multiple choice questions.

Scholarship Amount

About One thousand scholarships are awarded for different stages of education as follows

(a) Scholarship of Rs.1250/- per month for Class-XI to XII.
(b) Scholarship of Rs.2000/- per month for Undergraduates and Post-graduates.
(c) Amount of Scholarship for Ph.D. be fixed in accordance with the UGC norms.

Reservation :
15% for students belonging to the SC category, 7.5% for students belonging to the ST category and 3% for Physically Challenged Group of Students.

Type of School /Institution

Government :
A Government school is that which is run by the State Government or Central Government or Public Sector Undertaking or an Autonomous Organization completely financed by the Government.

Local Body :
A Local Body school is that which is run by Panchayati Raj and Local Body institution such as Zilla Parishad, Municipal Corporation, Municipal Committee and Notified Area Authority Committee and Cantonment Board.

Private Aided :
A Private Aided school is that which is run by an individual or a private organization and receives grant from Government or Local Body.

Private Unaided :
A Private Unaided School is that which is managed by an individual or a private organization and does not receive any grant either from Government or Local Body.

Instructions/Guidelines

1. Pre-Requisites for Applying Online Application Form
a. Prospectus 2019-20 ( website scertharyana.gov.in )
b. Your email id (eg. xyz@gmail.com)
c. Your Mobile Number

d. Scanned copy of Photograph, Signature , Cast certificate and Disability certificate ensuring that all required scan images should be in .jpeg format with size of each scan must be less than 2MB

e. Pin Code with the details of Correspondence Address.
f. Education Qualification & Weightage detail (For NTSE Level-1/HScTSS exam is class 9th) (minimum 55% marks for Gen and minimum 50% marks for Reserve Category)

g. For NTSE Level-1 Exam-2019 & HScTSS-2019, one application form will be filled.
