Ministry of Minority Affairs, New Delhi has been awarding Post-Matric Scholarship for the students belonging to Minority Communities pursuing higher education from Class XI upto Ph.D, in a Government or Private higher secondary school/college/University.

Who Can Apply?

** Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination
** The annual income of whose parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.00 lakh.

How to Apply?

Eligible students are to apply online at National Scholarship Portal. Just follow the below steps to apply for the Post Matric Scholarship Fresh & Renewal 2018-19.

Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of National Scholarship Portal
Step 2 : For Fresh Registration students click on the New Registration link in the home page and Fill the required details to complete your Registration.

Step 3 : For Renewal case, Students Click the Login link and enter your Application Id, Password, Captcha image for Login. Then complete your renewal process.

Note :
** Applicants are advised to take print-outs of the duly filled-in application forms, through National Scholarship web portal and to submit the same along with all supporting documents in their respective institutes.

** It will be necessary for the applicants to provide Aadhaar number/Aadhaar Enrolment ID while applying for the scholarship.

Documents Required

The list of documents to be scanned & uploaded for both Fresh and Renewal Scholarships as under
a) Student Photo. (Mandatory).
b) Institution Verification Form. (Mandatory).
c) Self declaration of Income Certificate by the student. (Mandatory).
d) Self declaration of community by the student. (Mandatory).

e) In case of Fresh – Self Attested Certificate of ‘Previous Academic Mark sheet’ as filled in Form. (Mandatory).
f) In case of Renewal – Self-Attested Certificate of Previous Year Marksheet as filled in the Form. (Mandatory).

g) Fee Receipt of current course year. (Mandatory).
h) Proof of Bank Account in the name of student. (Mandatory).
i) Aadhaar Card (optional).
j) Residential Certificate. (Mandatory).
