How to Register?

Just follow the below steps to register for KCNS 2018.

Steps :
Step 1 : Visit the official website of Educharya Educlub New Yug Edusoft Pvt. Ltd [educharya.com] and Click KCNS link in the menu bar.

Step 2 : Next you have to Sign Up and create a User Id.

Step 3 : It is mandatory to completely and correctly fill out the profile information along with the profile photo and the school identity card of the current academic year /mark sheet of the previous academic year.

Step 4 : Upon profile registration, you will receive an email with the Educharya user id and password on your registered Email ID & Mobile Number. These are your login id/password.

Prizes

There are 84 prizes to be won in 4 categories with 21 students in each category.
1. 1st Prize : NASA camp for Top 21 students.
2. 2nd Prize : INR One lakh for 21 students.
3. 3rd Prize : INR Fifty-one thousand for 21 students.
4. Consolation Prize : INR Twenty-one thousand for 21 students.

Selection Process

The KCNS exam will be conducted in two stages;
** The first stage will be the online scholarship exam. The class wise merit list will name the qualifiers.

** In the second stage, the qualifiers will have to go through the rapid fire round through Skype / Video calling. (Applicable only to the qualifiers)

** In each prize category of 21 winners, 9 students will be from classes V-VII, 10 students will be from classes VIII-X and one reserve category winner each from the wards of farmer & military personnel.

FAQs

1. What is the syllabus for this exam
The exam is based on the school syllabus for the respective class. A student of Class V will be attempting questions from his/her Class V syllabus. Same will be the case for other classes and boards.

2. What are the subjects for KCNS exam?
Mathematics, Science and General Knowledge.

3. How many questions will be asked and what is the weightage?
** For preparation, there will be total 9 sets on 9 Sundays between 9th September to 9th December 2018.

** Sets 1,2,3 are of 50 questions each , Sets 4, 5, 6 are of 75 questions each, and Sets 7, 8, 9 are of 90 questions each.
** Final KCNS exam paper will be of 100 Questions.

** In each paper set, 50% questions are of Science (including computer science), 30% questions are of Mathematics and 20% questions are of General Knowledge.
** Duration for each set of paper will be 1 hour.

4. Will mock tests be provided for the KCNS preparations?
Yes, the KCNS online preparatory tests will be made available On 9 Sundays between 9th September to 2nd December 2018.

5. Can I attempt the exam from my mobile phone?
Yes, www.educharya.com can be accessed from your computers, tablets and mobile phones as well.

6. Unable to upload identity proof. What to do?
Check the size of the file. If it’s too large, try to bring down the file size by lowering the resolution. If clicked from mobile camera, reduce the megapixel setting to lower resolution and re-click the photo and try uploading.

7. I misplaced my user_id/password and the SMS also got deleted. How can I get my user_id/password now?
1. If you remember your user_id then open www.educharya.com and click Forgot Password. Fill in the details and submit and you will get SMS with user_id/password.

2. Check the welcome email from educharya. It has your login_id/password.
3. If SMS and email are not available, call educharya support team and they will help you get the details.

8. I registered with www.educharya.com however did not receive SMS or email.
Please call us on the support numbers and our team will assist you in getting the details.

9. My name is appearing wrong on the website OR Can I do changes to my personal details by myself?
Yes, Login to www.educharya.com Go to Personal > My Profile. Click on Edit Profile towards top right corner. Now you can change your personal details.

10. Can I use same email Id and phone number to register two students/wards?
No, you will need separate email id and phone number for each ward/student.
