MMTC Scholarship Fund :
What is MMTC Scholarship Fund :
MMTC India Limited, a leading Public Sector Enterprise, largest trading company of India and a major trading company of Asia has established a Scholarship Fund (‘The Fund’) at PHFI and Indian Institute of Public Health (IIPH) to support students of good academic background and belonging to socially and economically deprived communities for the Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Management (PGDPHM) offered by IIPH.
Locations where PGDPHM Course is available :
The PGDPHM course is currently offered through PHFIs educational establishments (IIPH) situated at Delhi, National Capital Region (Gurgaon), Gandhinagar (Gujarat), Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh), Bhubaneswar (Orissa)
Eligibility criteria :
MMTC Scholarship Fund is available for all self-sponsoredapplicants selected for the PGDPHM Course. Preference is accorded to students belonging from socially and economically deprived communities including SC, ST, OBC and PH/VHC/HI. The ‘Fund’ shall provide for full or part scholarships to the limited number of applicants based on the availability of funds and as per the demonstrated need by the applicant
Candidates Selection :
A select Scholarship Committee across PHFI and IIPH’s assesses scholarship applications from the pool of self-sponsored candidates selected for the PGDPHM course.
Last Date for application :
Last date for application for the PGDPHM and MMTC scholarship is 31st May 2015. Students who have already submitted the PGDPHM application can submit the scholarship application separately.
Application Guidelines
** The MMTC scholarship would only be offered to the Indian nationals.
** The MMTC scholarship would be offered to the applicants belonging to socially and economically deprived communities including SC, ST, OBC, PH/VHC/HI applicants applying for PGDPHM course being offered by PHFI through the IIPHs.
** A select Scholarship Committee will review applicant’s candidature for the said scholarship.
** Decision to call a candidate for interview or select a candidate for scholarship will be final and no representation in this regard will be entertained.
** Incomplete and unsigned/unsubstantiated application forms are liable to be rejected. Enclosures The following documents should be securely attached to the Application Form :
** In case of SC/ST/OBC, an attested copy certifying applicants status issued by the Competent Authority.
** In case of PHC/VHC/Hearing Impaired, an attested copy of health certificate issued by a Competent Authority.
** A certificate of NOT belonging to socially advance persons/sections (Creamy Layer) / Income Proof Certificate issued by the appropriate authority.
Completed application along with Course application form and all necessary enclosures should reach by 31st May 2015 to :
