Applications are invited for the centre govt. (MHRD) sponsored NMMS Exam (2018-19) to be conducted on 04-11-2018 at about 40 centers of the state.

The objective of the scheme is to award scholarships to meritorious student of economically weaker sections to arrest their drop out at class VIII and encourage them to continue the study at secondary stage.
Who Can Apply?
1. Any student, studying in class VIII in a Govt./Local Body/Govt-aided-private school, whose parental annual income from all sources is not more than Rs. 1,50,000/- is eligible to appear in this exam.
2. He/she must have scored at least 55% marks in class VII.
3. He/she will be awarded the scholarship for the next four years i.e. Class IX to XII, only if he/she continues to study in a Govt./Local Body/Govt-aided-private school and scores at least 55% marks in the annual exams of class VIII, IX, and XI; and 60% or more marks in the annual exams of class X.
4. There is, however, a relaxation of 5% marks for the reserved categories.

Step 1 : Go to the official website of Himachal Pradesh SCERT provided above.
Step 2 : Download the Application Form from the official website or you can directly download it from below mentioned link.

Step 3 : Read the instructions carefully before filling the application form. You may take the help from your teacher/parent for filling in the application form.
Step 4 : Fill the application Form with the required details.
Step 5 : After filling up of the Application Form online, he / she is required to take the printout of the same and submit it to the concerned Headmasters.

Application forms must be sent to THE PRINCIPAL, SCERT, SOLAN at RABON (H.P.) -173211. Please do write NMMS EXAM – 2018, [District:_____________] at the top of the envelop.

| The students must pass both the tests i.e. MAT and SAT with at least 40% marks in aggregate taken together for these two tests. For the SC/ST students, this cut off will be 32% marks. | |||
Scholarship Amount
Scholarship of Rs. 12000/- per annum (Rs. 1000/- per month), per student is awarded to selected student every year for study in classes IX to XII in State Government, Govt. aided and local body schools.
