Kerala Directorate of Collegiate Education invites online applications for Post Matric Scholarship for the year 2019-20. Eligible students are to apply online at National Scholarship Portal.

Who Can Apply?
a) Should be the First Year student of
i. Plus Two/ UG/ PG/ Ph.D Course of Higher Secondary School/ College/ Institutes/ University, which is either a Govt/ Aided/Recognised Unaided Institution. OR
ii. 11th Class/Technical/ Vocational Course of ITI/ITC Centres affiliated to NCVT. OR
iii. Course, other than those listed in under merit-cum-means scholarship scheme. The names of courses listed under Merit-cum-means scholarship are given in See Instructions for details.
b. Should belong to Minority Community (Muslim/ Christian/ Buddhists/ Sikh/ Zoroastrians or Parsis).
c. Should have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous Board/ University Examination.
d. The Annual Family Income should not exceed Rs. 2 Lakhs.
e. Should not be availing any other Scholarship or Stipend.

Step 1 : Go to the official website of National Scholarship Portal
Step 2 : For Fresh Registration students click on the New Registration link in the home page and Fill the required details to complete your Registration.
Step 3 : For Renewal case, Students Click the Login link and enter your Application Id, Password, Captcha image for Login. Then complete your renewal process.
Rate of Scholarship
An amount equivalent to Admission and Course/Tuition Fee and Maintenance allowance, subjected to a maximum ceiling. See Instructions for details.
Terms & Conditions
** The award will be discontinued if a student fails to secure 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination.
** Scholarship will not be awarded for more than the normal period of time taken to obtain Certificate/Degree/M. Phil Degree/Doctorate Degree.
** Scholarships will not be given to more than two students in a family
** The students should be regular in attendance for which the yardstick will be decided by the competent authority of the school/college/university.

** Course fee/tuition fee and maintenance allowance will be credited directly to the students’ bank account.
** The fund for distribution of scholarships in subsequent years will be released after receiving the utilization certificate for the previous year.
** The student obtaining benefits under this scholarship scheme shall not be allowed to avail of benefits of the scholarship under the scheme.
** If a student is found to have obtained a scholarship by false statement/certificates, his/her scholarship will be cancelled forthwith and the amount of the scholarship paid shall be recovered, at the discretion of the concerned State Government/Union Territory Administration.
I am a B.Tech 2nd year civil student. My family income is about Rs.42000 annually. I want a financial help as a scholarship from your side because of my poor family background. I was not applied for this scholarship for the first year so, what I can do now to apply this. I have no choice in front of me, outstanding performance in many subjects. I am requesting you that I really need a help from your side.
