The department decided that the Scholarship applications for the year 2018-19 in connection with uploading of application in the National Scholarship Portal (NSP 2.0) by all category students (ST/SC/OBC/RM) of Tripura.
Eligibility
** She/ he should be a regular, full time student studying in a Government School or in a School recognized by Govt. or a Central/State Board of Secondary Education.
** Annual income of their parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs. 1 lakh for Pre Matrciu scholarship.
** The annual income of whose parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.00 lakh for Post Matric scholarship
How to Apply?
Students just follow the below steps to apply for the Pre/Post Matric Scholarship 2018-19.
Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of National Scholarship Portal
Apply Online : https://scholarships.gov.in/
Step 2 : For Fresh Registration students click on the New Registration link in the home page.
Step 3 : Select the scholarship scheme and Fill the required details to complete your Registration. Already registered user can directly login and apply the scholarship.
Step 3 : For Renewal case, Students Click the Login link and enter your Application Id, Password, Captcha image for Login. Then complete your renewal process.
Work Flow
Following work flow shall be followed in the NSP 2.0 regarding registration, verification/validation (single or multilayered) and approval for disbursement of scholarships to students for the year 2018-19
a. Pre-Matric Scholarship :
Maker : Student (ST/SC/OBC/RM)
Checker : Head of the Institution (Level-1) & District Education Officer (Level-2)
Approver : Line Department (State Level)
b. Post-Matric Scholarship :
Maker : Student (ST/SC/OBC/RM)
Checker : Head of the Institution
Approver : Line Department (State Level)
Important Dates
1. Online submission of applications in NSP 2.0 by the students for the year 2018-19 – 1st July, 2018 to 30th October, 2018
2. Verification of application by the concerned School/Institution – 1st July, 2018 to 15th November, 2018

4. Payment of scholarship to the students – 1st December, 2018 to 30th December, 2018
Duration & Renewal of Awards
(i) The scholarship will be payable for 10 months in an academic year.
(ii) The award once made will continue subject to good conduct and regularity in attendance. It will be renewed for Class X after the student passes Class IX.
