AICB Marga Schulze Merit Scholarship
All India Confederation of the Blind invites applications for Marga Schulze Merit Scholarships 2018. Our organization is also making scholarships for visually-impaired girls at college and university level on this year.
Eligibility
** Female blind students of B.A. second year, third year, B.Ed., MA first and second years and M. Phil can apply for scholarship
** The states of Maharashtra, Goa, Daman and Diu can not be eligible for this scholarship
How to Apply?
Just follow the below steps to apply for the Marga Schulze Merit Scholarships 2018.
Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of AICB All India Confederation of the Blind provided above.
Step 2 : Interested students download the Application Form from the official website or you can directly download it from below mentioned link.

Step 3 : Fill the application form with the required details and attach the below mentioned documents.
Step 4 : The completed application form should reach AICB office by 31st August 2018
Note :
Students obtaining first and second positions in Masters degree in any subject except Music and Fine Arts from a recognised university, can apply in the prescribed proforma for “Krishna Kumari Varma Memorial Award”, started by Dr. Ved Prakash Varma, by 31st October, 2018 in AICB office.

3. Date of Birth
4. (a) Permanent Address
i. Phone/Mobile Number & email Address
(b) Present Address
i. Telephone/Mobile No. & email Address
5. Age of onset of blindness
6. Residual Vision, if any
7. Name of the College/University in which studying at present
8. Name of the course being pursued including subject/(s) offered
9. Duration of the Course
10. Date of joining the Course
11. Expected date of conclusion of the Course
12. Name of the last annual examination passed
13. % of marks obtained in the last Annual Examination
14. a) Are you a Hosteller? – Yes/No
b) If yes, name & full address of the hostel
15. Whether the candidate possesses Braille skills
16. Whether training in mobility has been received and if so does the candidate move about independently?
17. Whether training in computer operation has been received, if so details thereof?
Documents Required
Attested copies of documents to be attached :
** Certificate of Date of Birth
** Attested copies of Certificate/Degree and mark sheets of the previous examination
** Certificate of blindness issued by a Government Hospital
** Passport size photograph

Scholarship Amount
The selected candidate will be awarded with a memento and a certificate in addition to a sum of Rs. 21,000 on the occasion of Louis Braille Birth Anniversary.
