ChessBase MKG Scholarship
The MKG Scholarship for girl child is the first scholarship under the HelpChess initiative of the ChessBase India Foundation.

Who Can Apply?
1. Any Indian girl below the age of 18 years
2. Should come from a weak financial background
3. Should have achieved something substantial in the last one year
How to Apply?
Just follow the below steps to apply for the MKG scholarship 2018.
Steps :
Step 1 : All those who are interested in the scholarship must fill the form by visiting below mentioned link.
Step 2 : To fill out this form, you must be signed in. Sign in with your gmail Email id with your password.
Step 3 : Fill the Application Form with the following details and Click Submit button to complete the application form.
** Enter the Name of the player [Arjun S]
** Enter your Email address [abc@gmail.com]
** Enter your Phone number [9999999999]
** Enter your Date of birth in the format of MM/DD/YYYY [12/20/1994]
** Enter your FIDE ID [1234]
** Enter your Current FIDE Rating
** Enter the Achievements of the player
** What is the occupation of your father?
** What is the occupation of your mother?
** What is the monthly income of your parents (Father + Mother)
** Please attach the income tax return of your parents for the last three years
** Do you already have a sponsor/scholarship. If yes, please mention the name of the same.
** Enter your Bank details
** What is your ambition?
** If you win the scholarship, how do you plan to use this money? Please answer in detail.
** Anything else that you would like to add
Scholarship Details
The amount of the scholarship will be Rs.50,000. The deserving girl who will be selected for the scholarship will get Rs.6000 in the first month and Rs.4000 on the first of every month for the remaining 11 months.
This scholarship will begin from the 1st of August and the beneficiary’s account will be credited on the first of every month with the scholarship amount.
Selection Process
The selection of the winner of the scholarship rests with the person/family that has instituted the scholarship and ChessBase India panel. Your chances improve significantly if you have filled the above form.

HelpChess is an initiative by ChessBase India Foundation. We are looking for individuals/organizations who would like to help the talents of Indian chess by donating money or instituting a scholarship or donating in kind, so that the financial burdens on the players who come from humble background are reduced to an extent.
