Merit Scholarship Scheme 2015-16:
Applications on Prescribed Form are invited for grant of Merit Scholarship for academic session 2015-16 form members/ wards of MPAF Shamlat, PAF and resident of PAA of Integrated Kashang HEP, Shongtong-Karchham HEP, Sainj HEP, Renukaji Dam Project and Swara Kuddu HEP who are studying in College, Schools, Institutes affiliated to State/ Govt. of India.
Application forms with instructions are available at Project Site Office or can be downloaded form HPPCl website.
Instructions and General Conditions:
1. The Scholarship is available for the following courses.

| 3. | Vocational Training (ITI) | Rs. 1000/- pm | One Year |
| 4. | Diploma in Engineering/ Pharmacy/Computer | Rs. 1500/-pm | One Year |
| 5. | Non Professional degree (B.Sc, M.Sc, BCA) | Rs. 1600/-pm | One Year |
| 6 | Degree in Engineering / Medicine/ Computer (or MCA). | Rs.2000/-pm | One Year |
2. The student should be studying in School, College, Government education institutes and any other educational institute recognized/affiliated to State Government/Government of India.
3. The merit scholarship will be given on the merit basis.
4. The amount of scholarship shall be released on half-yearly basis.
5. The submission of application for scholarship shall not guarantee the grant of scholarship.
6. The award of scholarship by HPPCL shall not be a guarantee to any student for employment in or with HPPCL.
7. Proof of belonging to MPAF, MPAF-S, PAF or residing in the Project Affected Area is to be attached with the application form.
8. Attested copy/photo copy of marks sheet of previous annual exam passed is also to be attached.
9. Candidate shall bring two No.s of Passport size photographs attested by the head of the college/institute. One to be pasted on application form & other attached with the form (name of the applicant and date of birth with class of study written on the back of the photograph).
10. The application form must be signed by the candidate & parents/Head of PAF.
11. The application form duly filled in should be submitted within prescribed date to the officer to be notified by HPPCL.
12. Scholarship to the selected candidates shall be released only through Cheque or by electronic transfer direct to her/his bank account. If applicant at the time of applying does not have a bank account, in the event of her/his selection, opening a bank account is strongly advised
