MEDHAVI Swawlamban Scholarship Examination

MEDHAVI national scholarship scheme invites application for the SWAWLAMBAN – 2018 scholarship examination. Under this exam scholarships will be awarded on MERIT base only to candidates who qualify prescribed exam.

Eligibility

1. Minimum age limit is 16 years and maximum 40 years for all candidates.
2. A candidate must have passed matriculation (10th) or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

3. A Candidate must be either :
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

How To Apply?

Just follow the below steps to apply for the Swawlamban Scholarship Examination 2018.

Step 1 : Go to the official website of MEDHAVI National Scholarship Scheme through the URL https://medhavionline.org/

Step 2 : Then Click on the Registration link under the ‘Apply Online’ tab.

Step 3 : Fill the following personal details to complete the Registration Form.
** Select the Scholarship Applying For [SWAWLAMBAN]
** Select your Educational Qualification [Graduate]
** Enter the Name of candidate(in full) [Ajith]

** Enter your Date of Birth [01/03/1999]
** Select your Gender [Male/Female]
** Enter your Aadhar No. [897645320998]

** Enter your Father’s Name (in full) [Kumar]
** Enter your Mother’s Name (in full) [Saroja]
** Enter the Address for Correspondence
** Enter your Contact Detail
** Select your Category [SC/ST/OBC]

Step 4 : Finally accept the declarations and Click on the Submit button. A registration ID will be sent to the E‐mail of the candidate.

Step 5 : After submitting the Online Application (OA), the candidates are required to take snap shot of the finally submitted Online Application.

Note :
Candidates are not required to submit to the Organization either by post or by hand the printouts of their online applications or any other document.

Fee Payment

a) To appear in the scholarship exam, applicants need to pay an amount of Rs. 300 (Three hundred only) for General category applicants and Rs. 250/- (Two Hundred Fifty only) for SC/ST candidates against the online test.

b) Payment Once Paid Shall Not Be Refunded Under Any Circumstance. Follow the below steps for online payment

Download Admit Card

Just follow the below steps to Download your admit card for SWABHIMAAN scholarship,

Step 2 : Next, Click on the Admit Card link under “Result/Admit Card” tab in the home page.
Step 3 : Enter your Registration No & Date of Birth
Step 4 : Finally click on the Submit button

Scheme Of Examination

The selection process for the scholarship will comprise of an ONLINE Test of MCQs.

The structure of the Examination is as follow :

Date, Time & Venue Of Examination

I. Tentative date for examination is 26 August 2018 (Sunday). Time of examination will be 10:00 AM.
II. Center of examination is to be decided by the candidate

Note :
All questions will be printed in English & Hindi except English OR Hindi language section. Candidate will have to attempt either English or Hindi language questions in language section

Penalty for Wrong Answers :
For each wrong answer one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no penalty for that question.

Scholarship Amount

** 388 Candidate will be awarded Rs.5000/- (Type A) as scholarship for 3 consecutive months;
** 324 Candidates will be awarded Rs.2500/- (Type B) as scholarship for 3 consecutive months;

** 227 candidate will be awarded with Rs.1000/- (Type C) as scholarship for 3 consecutive months;
** 436 candidates will be awarded Rs.500/- (Type D) as scholarship for 3 consecutive months subject to merit list & number of application received.

Syllabus

Level of exam would be of MATRICULATION LEVEL.

General Studies :
Indian History, Indian Polity, Important Dates and Events, Science & Technology, Countries and capitals, Science and innovations, World organizations, Famous Places in India, Books And Author, Current Events of National and International Importance, Economy, World Geography and population.

General Aptitude :
Comprehension Reasoning, Venn Diagrams, Number Series, Coding and decoding, Problem Solving Techniques, Statement & Conclusion type questions, Arithmetic reasoning, Arithmetical number series, Nonverbal series, Syllogistic reasoning, Seating Arrangements.

Quantitative Aptitude :
Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, Geometry, Algebra & Trigonometry.

English :
Spotting errors, Fill in the blank Cloze Test, Idioms & Phrases, Synonyms and antonyms, Reconstruction of sentence & passage, One word substitution, Phrase substitution, Jumbled up sentences Double blanks in a sentence, Commonly misspelled words, Comprehension passages.

Result & Documents Verification

** Candidates will be required to upload their matriculation certificate, caste certificate (for SC/SCT candidates), it is suggested to keep these certificate with you while claiming scholarship.

** Link will be live only for a period of 6 days from 10.09.18 to 15.09.18 (midnight), in order to expedite the process all candidates are required to check their result within this timeframe, no request in this regard will be entertained after the prescribed period.

** Scholarship will be awarded in their ‘PayTM wallet’ only therefore successful candidates are requested to create a ‘PayTM’ account if they do not have it.
