Kristu Jayanti Scholarship Scheme (KJSS) For All First Year UG Programmes
KJSS aims to recognize the students who are outstanding in academics and co-curricular & extra-curricular activities and to assist the students who are from financially backward.

KJSS has three broad categories:
a. Jayantian Achievement Grant ( JAG)
b. Jayantian Talent Scholarship ( JTS)
c. Jayantian Upliftment Scholarship ( JUS)

General Guidelines:
1. Students who receive any sort of scholarships ( Government/Minority etc) are not eligible under KJSS
2. Students who satisfy the stipulated conditions of the schemes are eligible under KJSS and are required to apply by filling up the form within the due date
3. The Committee will scrutinize the forms and the Principal will approve the beneficiaries under KJSS
4. KJSS is applicable only to under-graduate students
5. The scholarships will not be provided if there are no eligible students
6. The scholarships will be provided at the end of the academic year during a special function
7. Students who would qualify under category (iii) will be eligible to get scholarships under category (i) & (ii) provided they qualify for them
8. The decision of the scholarship in identifying the beneficiaries will be final
9. The number of scholarships and the amount disbursed each year will be decided by the Management of the College

1. Jayantian Achievement Grant ( JAG):
Conditions:
1.1 This scholarship is exclusively for students who are excellent in academics
1.2 Students’ academic excellence will be evaluated each semester on continuous basis and students start receiving the endowment from II semester
1.3 Students should have minimum 85% of attendance in each course in the previous semester
1.4 B.Com./BBM students should secure minimum 80% of marks ( aggregate of CIA & End Semester Examinations), BA & B.Sc. ( CSMS/CSME) – 80%& B.Sc. ( Life Science) / BCA –90%

2. Jayantian Talent Scholarship ( JTS):
Conditions:
2.1 This scholarship is provided for encouraging students to excel in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities ( cultural, sports & games and inter-collegiate fests)
2.2 Students should have minimum 85% of attendance in each course in the previous semester
2.3 Students should secure minimum 60% of marks ( aggregate of CIA & End Semester Examinations) and should have passed in all the courses
2.4 Students need to represent the college and win at least two prizes at the University level/State Level /National level competitions.

3. Jayantian Upliftment Scholarship ( JUS):
Conditions:
3.1 This scholarship is provided to financially disadvantaged students
3.2 Students’ family annual income should be equal to or less than Rs. one lakh
3.3 Students need to produce the proof of income certificate given by the local civil authority
3.4 Students should have minimum 85% of attendance in each course in the previous semester
3.5 Students should secure minimum 60% of marks ( aggregate of CIA & End Semester Examinations) and should have passed in all the courses
