Scholarship:
Assam Don Bosco University offers the following Tuition Fee Waiver schemes and Scholarship Schemes to encourage meritorious students to avail of the excellent academic ambience of the University as well as to ensure equitable access to higher education for economically weaker sections of society.

Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship:
Apart from the above fee waiver schemes, Assam Don Bosco University offers a few merit-cum-means scholarships to ensure equity in access to the programmes it offers.

These scholarships are awarded for a semester at a time. To continue to get the scholarship in subsequent semesters the scholarship holders have to obtain an SGPA of 7.00 (6.5 for Humanities and Social Sciences) in the previous semester. If the candidate fails to obtain this SGPA in any two semesters, the scholarship will be discontinued.

On the basis of excellence in academic performance:
Students who stand first in each branch of each semester will be awarded a scholarship of Rs. 5000.00 for the subsequent semester.

Please Note:
** Tuition waiver schemes will be implemented at admission.
** Applications for scholarships will invited by the Chairperson of the Scholarship Committee within a week of the starting of the Academic Year, and screened following the norms laid down by the Committee. The Committee will announce the recipients of the scholarships within a month of the commencement of the Academic Year.

Fee Waiver Scheme (for professional advancement of faculty members):
The University has announced incentives for its faculty for taking up the following courses:
** M. Tech : A waiver of Caution Deposit and 50% waiver of Annual fees
** Ph. D : A 50% waiver of Annual fees

Scholarship Scheme (for on-line and distance education students):
The University has announced the following Scholarships for its On-line and Distance Education Programs:
** Samarthan – Defence – Serving / Retired members of the Defence Services of India are entitled to a Scholarship amounting to 25% of the Tuition/Academic Fees. Dependent Children or a Spouse of a Serving Member is entitled to the same extent.
** Avalanab – Disability – People with 40% or more Disability, with a Certificate of the same, are entitled to a Scholarship amounting to 25% of the Tuition/Academic Fees
** Saathi – Candidates working in the Non Profit Sector, either Social (NGO) or Religious Organizations, are entitled to a Scholarship amounting to 40% of the Tuition/Academic Fees
** Sangee – Ex Don Bosco Alumni – Students who have cleared either Class X or XII from any Don Bosco Schools in India, shall be are entitled to a Scholarship amounting to 25% of the Tuition/Academic Fees.
** Asha – Girl Students from disadvantaged backgrounds or one who is the only child in her family, with 60% in their Class XII, shall have FREE Admission to BBA /BCA Program, provided they enrol within 2 years of their passing XII.
** Sadhak – Performer – Students with 75%+ in Class XII, and 70% + in Graduation (All years Avg), shall be entitled to get 30% scholarship in PG Programs.
** Protsahan – Students with 75%+ in Class X and Class XII , get 30% scholarship in UG Programs.

Tuition Fee Waiver Schemes:
B.Tech:
100 % waiver in tuition fees for 10 students securing 85% and above in PCM in Class XII examinations in the eight states of North East India, on a first-come first served basis. Those availing the scheme will continue to get the waiver in subsequent semesters provided they obtain an SGPA of at least 8.00 in the previous semester. If the candidate fails to obtain this SGPA in any two semesters, the waiver will be stopped.

Rs. 25,000.00 fee waiver for 10 students securing 75% and above in PCM in Class XII examinations in the eight states of North East India, on a first come first served basis. Those availing the scheme will continue to get the waiver in subsequent semesters provided they obtain an SGPA of at least 7.50 in the previous semester. If the candidate fails to obtain this SGPA in any two semesters, the waiver will be stopped.

M.Tech:

A waiver of caution deposit and 50% of annual fees for faculty members of Assam Don Bosco University pursuing MTECH studies in our university.

Phd:
50% waiver of annual fee for faculty members of Assam Don Bosco University pursuing PHD studies in our university.
