Eligibility Criteria
Class 9th to 12th students (studying in schools affiliated with any State, Central or International board) & droppers (after class 12th) are eligible for the test.
How to Register?
Just follow the simple steps to register for VSAT 2018.
Step 1 : Go to the official website of Vedantu through the URL provided above.
Step 2 : Then Click on the ‘Register for Free’ button in the home page.
Step 3 : Fill the Registration Form by entering the following details,
i. Enter the Student Name [Ananya]
ii. Choose your Grade [Grade 12]
iii. Choose your Board/Target [JEE]
iv. Enter your Email Id [abc@gmail.com]
v. Enter the Password [Email Id & password will be used as VSAT login credentials]
vi. Enter your Mobile Number [9876543210]
Step 4 : Finally Click Submit button
Step 5 : It will redirect you to the Login Page. Enter your Email id and Password for Login.
Test Pattern
** All questions are objective with 4 options, only one of which is correct
** Correct answers will be awarded +4 marks and incorrect answers will be penalised with -1 mark (maximum marks 200)
** The maximum time available to attempt the paper is 1 hour
Class 9, 10, 11 : (JEE & NEET aspirants)
** Paper will contain 2 sections – Mental Aptitude Test (MAT) & Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
** Each section will contain 25 questions (total 50 questions)
Class 12 & Droppers : (JEE aspirants)
** Paper will contain 3 sections – Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
** Each section will contain 10 questions (total 30 questions)
Class 12 & Droppers : (NEET aspirants)
** Paper will contain 3 sections – Physics, Chemistry & Biology
** Physics & Chemistry will contain 15 questions each. Biology section will contain 30 questions (Total 60 questions).
Note : There would be different test papers for each class

FAQs
1. Where and How will I be able to attempt the VSAT on 17th June 2018?
VSAT 2018 is completely Online. You will be able to attempt the test on 17th June 2018 at 3pm, by logging into VSAT Website with your VSAT credentials (VSAT Login ID / Password) that you had created at the time of registering for VSAT.
2. Is there a physical centre for VSAT?
No, VSAT is an Online Test. You will be able to attempt the VSAT from anywhere in the world and on any device – Laptop / Desktop / Smartphones.
3. What if I forget my password for VSAT Website Login?
On VSAT Website, click on Login button. Now click on ‘Generate New Password?’ to get a password reset link on your registered email id. Through this link, you will be able to reset your password.
4. By mistake, I filled wrong information while registering for VSAT. How can I edit my Profile Information?
You can edit your profile information by logging into VSAT Website with VSAT Login Credentials. After logging in, click on Edit Profile Information button on your home page. Or click on the down button alongside your name on the top right corner to get Edit Profile option.
5. Where should I attempt the VSAT – Desktop / Laptop / Mobile? What other things should I be ready with for the test?
You will be able to take VSAT Online on any device – Laptop / Desktop or Mobile (Smartphone).
But, we strongly suggest to use Desktop or Laptop if available as the chances of disruption on Mobile Device is much higher (phone call, battery drainage, drop in network, etc. can disrupt the test).
We also suggest you to have a stable internet connection (broadband) and have latest version of Chrome Browser installed in your device.
6. What if my Test abruptly ends?
If your test ends abruptly (without clicking on ‘End Test’ button) due to power failure or internet disconnection, you can resume the test by re-logging into VSAT Website with your VSAT Credentials.
Note : the timer of the test will keep ticking in the background and once your test resumes, it will resume with the actual time at present (in other words, if you were disconnected for 5 min, you will lose 5 min in attempting the test).
7. Can I take VSAT Test from multiple devices?
No, we ensure that the test by a particular student is given from only one device. Any attempt to change the device in between will end the test.
This is done to avoid certain possibilities of wrong doings in test attempt. Please ensure that the device that you use is properly tested before, is connected with power source and has proper internet connectivity.
8. Can I use calculator?
Yes you can. There are no restrictions for using calculators. But again, calculator won’t help for the kind of questions used in the test.
9. What if someone Googles the answer?
Although, questions are designed in a way that googling won’t help, but tab switching or navigation to other applications is not allowed during the test. The test will automatically end if someone tries to do that.
