Scholarship Policy:
Meritorious Student Scholarship:
Awarded to students of UG Programmes who have scored 90% or above marks, in aggregate, in Class XII examination. The Scholarship includes Full Tuition Fee waiver. Candidates are required to pay other fees as applicable to the programme concerned.
Conditions for Continuation of Scholarship:
Students will be awarded Scholarships for a Semester, to be reviewed every Semester for continuation, based upon his/her performance in the Semester.
For continuation of Scholarships, the Students shall be required to:
** maintain a minimum CGPA of 7.75,
** minimum 75% attendance in all courses in each Semester and
** register for all courses and earn credits for these courses as defined in curriculum scheme of programme of admission i.e. the student shall not pursue the Semester in under load mode (registering for lesser number of credits).
If the student fails to satisfy any of the above, the Scholarship awarded shall be withdrawn. Scholarship once withdrawn, due to violation of any of the above stated criteria, shall not be rewarded to the student concerned during the course of study.
The maximum period of award shall be the normal duration of programme.
Tuition Fee Waiver:
MRU offers Scholarships based on merit cum means, to the candidates admitted under reservation for Haryana Candidates. Scheme shall be applicable to all Bachelor and Post Graduate Programmes. The scheme is applicable to all students whose parents have annual income of Rs. 2.50/2.80 from all sources. Under the scheme, the students shall be given fee waiver limited to the tuition fee. Candidates are required to pay other fees as applicable to the programme concerned.
Documents to be submitted:
Income Certificate in the form of Affidavit on non-judicial Stamp Paper of Rs. 10 signed by the concerned Tehsildar.
