For Education After SSC (BS-EA10) :

Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation (ABC) Limited, a Government of Andhra Pradesh undertaking, is introducing “BharatiScheme for Education After SSC” (BS-EA10) for the poor Brahmin students in Andhra Pradesh.

Under this scheme, an amount of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) shall be paid to the selected applicants through the prescribed process, as one time financial assistance. It is a merit cum means scheme.

Objective :
To encourage poor Brahmin students pursue education after SSC with one time financial assistance.

Scope :
This scheme is applicable for students of Andhra Pradesh covering all 13 districts, who passed their SSC examination in May 2015, with Grade B2 and above.

Eligibility:
** The student and his parents should belong to Brahmin community and reside in Andhra Pradesh.
** Annual income of Parents / Guardian should not be more than Rs. 2,50,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Fifty thousand only).
** Should have appeared for SSC examination in any of the 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh State in March 2015 and obtained Grade B2 and above in the SSC Public Examination 2015.
** Should have got admission in Junior College / Polytechnic / ITI, etc, in Andhra Pradesh.
** Should not have availed himself/ herself any amount under any other Government scheme for the same purpose.

Application Procedure :
Notification shall be released for the scheme, on 26 June 2015.
Eligible candidates shall fill their application online (www.andhrabrahmin.org) in the prescribed format. (In case of any difficulty, contact 040-24767879)

Applicant should upload the scanned copies (in pdf of minimum 50Kb & maximum 100Kb size each)of the following documents:
** Aadhar Cards of the student and parents / guardian.
** Caste certificate issued by competent authority
** Income Certificate issued by competent authority.
** Marks Sheet with Grade in SSC Public Examinations.
** Copy of SB Account in Andhra Bank (account must be in the name of applicant)
** Passport size photograph (in jpeg format)
** Proof of admission into Intermediate / Polytechnic / ITI, etc. in Andhra Pradesh

Last date for receiving online application is 30-09-2015

Selection process :
Scrutinising, short-listing and finalisation of applicants shall be done by the State Level Committee (SLC), giving priority to the following categories:
** Orphan
** Single mother
** Physically challenged
** Girl student
** Economically very poor

One time financial assistance of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) will be credited online to the SB Accounts of selected applicantson or before 15 September 2015

Beneficiaries will not exceed 10% of total from any district as far as possible.

State Level Committee is authorised to make exceptions in the eligibility / selection process and their decision will be final.
