IABMS Fellowship :
The IABMS honors the Life Members and outstanding researchers in Biomedical Scientists by the FABMS (Fellow of Association of Biomedical Scientists) Title.

The eligibility criteria for IABMS title are:
The applicant, a biomedical scientist must be a Life Member of IABMS for a minimum period of 5 years and they should have attended the Annual Conference for a minimum of 5 years and they should have attended the Annual Conference for a minimum of 3 years and / or.

The applicant must have a minimum of 15 years of outstanding experience in research in the field of Biomedical Scientist, as evidenced by publications in peer reviewed, indexed journals and with other academic accomplishments as authorship in books, awards received from EABMS, 2000.

The applicant must be a Indian citizen and aged above 45 years.

Application Procedure:
A sub-committee constituted by Executive Committee will scrutinize the applications received for FABMS title in the month of August / September every year and will submit the report to the Executive Committee for its approval. The awardees will be intimated by the General Secretary and the award will be given during the Annual Conference of the Association. The Executive Committee has the right to limit the number of FABMS awards to a eight to ten applicants per year. A nominal fee of Rs. 5,000.00/- will have to be paid by the applicant while submission of the application. Payment of fee does not assure the award presentation. If an applicant fails to receive the FABMS Title award in the Annual Conference of IABMS, it will be carried forward for the next year and such applicants must submit fresh application for consideration.
