** Application for NEC stipend or scholarship (fresh)/ (renewal)
Track Application Status
You can check the Status of Scholarship application listed above in any of the following ways:
1. Users will be intimated of status change in their inbox available in the state portal.
2. Users will get SMS notification on Status change.
3. Users can enquire about status at the department with the transaction ID.
(or) Just follow the steps below to know your scholarship application status.
How To Check Application Status?
Via Email
You will receive an update in your inbox of the e-mail id that you created, once your application is serviced
Via SMS
You can also check the status of your application by sending a SMS on 51969 in the following format :
SMS Format :
NGL “Sub-Keyword” “Application ID”
Example:
NGL SECS 1400488053528
Steps :
Step-1 : Send NGL NECF 1400488053528 (without quotes) to 51969, like this
Step-2 : After your message is received, you will get a message like this

To check your scholarship application status online, follow the simple steps below.
Steps :
Step-1 : Go to the following link “https://scholarship.nagaland.gov.in/”
Step-2 : Enter the User ID and Password in the space provided.
Step-3 : Then click on the ‘Login’ button to track the status of application.
Note:
Login ID : Login ID is a unique ID. Login ID is not case-sensitive.
Password : Password is case-sensitive, alphanumeric and can contain special characters.
Forgot Password?
In case you forget your password, click on ‘Forgot Password?’ link provided in the ‘User Login’ section
Password Error:
Make sure your “caps lock” key is not on. Password is case sensitive. For example, “password” is not the same as “PaSSwoRd” or “PASSWORD” & loginid Nagaland102 is same as nagALanD102 or nagaLAND102.
