KEI HSSP Program

Kashmir Education Initiative (KEI) USA in collaboration with lqbal Memorial Trust (IMT), invites applications for scholarships from meritorious students presently studying in Class 9th.

The KEI HSSP Scholarship will be granted purely on the basis of Merit cum Means. After scrutiny of the applications, KEI may conduct an Aptitude Test of the shortlisted candidates.

Who Can Apply?

** Candidate must have secured more than 75% marks in 2017 DIET Board portion of 8th Class.
** Total annual income of the candidate’s household should not exceed INR 3, 00,000.

Note:
In case any information provided by the applicant is found to be false or misleading, his/her application will be immediately rejected without any notice.

** Applications can be collected from any of our authorized centers or schools (listed below) at free of cost.
** Application forms can also be downloaded from the Kashmir Education Initiative website kashmirei.org (or) You can directly download the application form from below.

Steps to Fill Application Form

Candidates have to follow the given steps to fill the application form.

Step-1 : Part-1
Column-1 : Form Number- Fill the form number correctly
Column-2 : Student Name- Write the Student Name
Column-3 : Father’s Name- Father of Student Name is to be written
Column-4 : Date of Birth – Date of Birth is to be written in the DD/MM/YYYY format.
Column-5 : Present Class – Mention your Present Class
Column-6, 7 : Contact Numbers – Provide the two valid Contact Numbers
Column-8,9,10 : Permanent Address – Complete present address of the student with PIN code is to be written
Column-11 : Mention the Name of the school currently studying in
Column-12, 13 : School Address – Name of the School Address is to be written with School Contact Number in these Columns
Column-14 : Principal’s Mobile – Provide the Principal’s Mobile Number
Column-15 : Academic Record – Fill your academic details in the table
Column-16 : Mention the Names of any scholarships/organizations (other than KEI) to which the applicant has applied and /or is receiving from at the time of filling this form
Column-17 : Declaration- The student should carefully read and understand the declaration before signing
Column-18 : Sign- The student should sign in the space provided.
Column-19 : Place & Date- Place and date to be filled up at the time of filling up of application form

Note:
Paste your latest passport size photo attested by School Authority in the space provided.

Step-2 : Part 2
Column-20 : Guardian Details – Fill the Column with Guardian Details like Name, Relation with Applicant, Occupation and Annual Income
Column-21 : Sibling Information – Mention the Total number of brothers of the applicant and their age(as on 31 /12/2017) & Total number of sisters of the applicant and their age(as on 31 /12/2017)
Column-22 : Income & Financial Details – Mention the Father’s gross annual salary/income in Rupees and Mother’s gross annual salary/income in Rupees.
Column-23 : Income From – Mention the Income from Agriculture, Orchard, Other sources and Total Gross household annual income from all sources (a,b,c,d,e) in Rupees.
Column-24 : Declaration- The student should carefully read and understand the declaration before signing
Column-25 : Sign- The Parent/ Guardian should sign in the space provided.
Column-26 : Date – Date to be filled up at the time of filling up of application form
Column-27,28,29 & 30 : Tehsildar OR President of Local Masjid Committee/Auqaf Details : Full Name, Address with Pin Code and Contact Numbers are to be written in the relevant Columns
Column-31: Sign- Signature with name & official stamp of Tehsildar OR president of local Masjid Committee/Auqaf
Column-32 & 33 : Date & Contact Number – Date & Contact Number to be written in these Columns.
Column-34 : Personal Statement- Please tell us your Story – Describe yourself, your family, your life experiences, your goals and ambitions

Authorized Centers

Documents To Be Submitted

** Completed application form duly attested by the Principal or Head Master of the current school where student is enrolled in his/her 9th Class.
** Self Attested Copy of student’s Class 8th marks certificate.
** Proof of total household annual income duly signed by the tehsildar OR president of local masjid-committee/Auqaf, according to the format on the application form.
** Four recent Passport size photographs of the applicant.

Note:
** If any of the parents/guardians are salaried employees (who are in full or part time, government or private employment) a Last Pay Certificate (LPC) duly stamped & sealed by the Salary Disbursing Officer must be submitted, in addition to the above certificate.
** Incomplete applications without necessary attachments will be out rightly rejected.

Important Dates

** Start date for submitting application form is 01st March 2018
** Last date for submitting application form is 31st March 2018
