The five faculties of the university: Biotechnology, Management Sciences and Liberal Arts, Engineering and Technology, Pharmaceutical and Basic Sciences are unified by a research-driven model to develop high quality workforce to suit the requirements of the industry and community.

Placement & Career Development Cell :
The Placement Cell, in coordination with different faculties and schools, conducts campus placements through a gala event ‘Placement Week’, which is the first of its kind in Himachal Pradesh and is also in conformity with the IIMs and other top B schools in the country. During the placement week a large number of MNCs and leading companies visit our campus for on spot placements.
The purpose of having placement week is to provide a strategic platform to synergize and facilitate interaction between education and industry with an idea to provide our students jobs in corporate sector and industries, creating opportunities for students’ project-based learning and industrial training.
