Online applications are invited under the AICTE Scholarship Schemes mentioned below:
1. Pragati Scholarship Scheme for girl students.
2. Saksham Scholarship for differently abled students

The students admitted in 1st year during the academic year 2017-18 through centralized admission process in AICTE approved Technical Institution for approved Diploma/Degree level Programmes are eligible to apply for above scholarships w.e.f 17th October,2017

** The last date for online applications is 30.11.2017 up to 5:00 P.M.
** Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected summarily.
** Applications received offline will not be entertained.
** Reservation-15% for SC, 7.5% ST and 27% for OBC candidate/applicant.

Instructions for filling Application

Step 1: Please visit your respective Institution. For obtaining the ID and Password which you require at the time of filling the application.
Note: Username and Password of the Student already sent to their respective Institution on their registered e-mail address on the AICTE web portal.

Step 2: Before filling up the application please take the print out of the following document and keep the scanned copy ready to attach it while filling up the form
Note: Kindly upload files in .pdf/.jpg/.png format only. If files are not getting uploaded (preview) in .jpg format try uploading files in .png/.pdf format

Step 3: Login through the registered ID and Password
Step 4: After the successful login
Step.5: Fill the required details in every section of the form and press save and upload button given at the end of every section
Step 6: After filling up the form click on submit application

Pragati Scholarship For Girl Students

Pragati is a scheme of AICTE aimed at providing assistance for Advancement of Girls participation in Technical Education

Salient Features of the Scheme

** Number of scholarships per annum: 4000
** ‘One Girl’ per family, where the family income is less than Rs. 6 Lakh /annum
** The candidates will be selected on Merit at the qualifying examination to pursue technical education from amongst such candidates
** The candidates should have been admitted to 1st year of the Degree or Diploma programme in any of the AICTE approved institute during the academic year through centralized admission process of the State/ Centre Government
** Amount of scholarship: Tuition Fee of Rs. 30000/- or at actual, whichever is less and Rs. 2000/- per month for 10 months as incidentals each year.
** Reservation-15% for SC, 7.5% ST and 27% for OBC candidate/applicant.
** Out of the total number of scholarship in each scheme, 50% scholarships are available at each Degree /Diploma level and also transferable in the event of non availability of eligible applicant in any of the of Degree/ Diploma level Programme.

i. Copies of Mark sheet of standard Xth/ XIIth/ Others as applicable
ii. Copy of Annual Family Income Certificate for the financial year in the prescribed format issued by Tahsildar or Higher officer
iii. Copy of Admission letter to Diploma/Degree Course
iv. Copy of Tuition fee receipt
v. Copy of Bank Pass Book showing name of the student, Account number, IFSC code and Photograph
vi. Copy of student PAN card (if available)
vii. Copy of AADHAAR card (if available)
viii. Certificate issued by the Director/Principal/Head of the Institute
ix. Declaration by Parents

Saksham Scholarship to Differently Abeled Students

Saksham is a scheme of AICTE aimed at providing encouragement and support to specially abeled children to pursue Technical Education. This an attempt to give every young student who is otherwise specially abled, the opportunity to study further and prepare for a successful future.

Salient Features of the Scheme

** Number of scholarships per annum: 1000
** For Specially Abled students whose family income is less than Rs. 6 lakhs per annum
** The candidates should have been admitted to 1st year of the Degree or Diploma programme in any of the AICTE approved institute during the academic year through centralized admission process of the State/ Centre Government
** The candidates will be select on merit at the qualifying examination to pursue technical education from amongst such candidates.
** Amount of scholarship: Tuition Fee of Rs. 30000/- or at actual, whichever is less and Rs. 2000/- per month for 10 months as incidentals each year.
** Reservation-15% for SC, 7.5% ST and 27% for OBC candidate/applicant.

FAQ Frequently Asked Questions :
My daughter (only girl child) took admission in AICTE approved Government College in the year 2016 for pursuing M.Tech (integrated 5 years course). Last year we could not file the online application as we were not aware about this Scholarship. Now, she is in 2nd year, can she apply for this scholarship this year 2017-18. ?
