Post Matric Scholarship 2015-16:
The Govt. of India, Ministry of Minority Affairs, New Delhi has been awarding Post-Matric Scholarship for the students belonging to Minority Communities pursuing higher education from Class XI upto Ph.D, in a Government or Private higher secondary school/college/University.

Technical and vocational courses (other than those listed under Merit-cum-Means scholarship scheme) in Industrial Training Institutes/Industrial Training Centres affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training(NCVT) of Classes XI and XII Level will covered under the Scheme.

Timeline for (Fresh & Renewal scholarship):
1. Submission of Online applications for fresh/Renewal scholarship by students.
Fresh -01st June to 15th September, 2015
Renewal-01st June to 10th October, 2015
2. Scrutiny of online application by Institute.
Fresh – 01st June to 05th October, 2015
Renewal-01st June to 31st October, 2015
The eligible candidates may apply through online on the website of common National Scholarship web portal of Govt. Of India under URL www.scholarships.gov.in
Applicants are advised to take print-outs of the duly filled-in application forms, through OSMS, and to submit the same along with all supporting documents (i.e. residence proof, last class pass certificate, Aadhaar no., bank account in the name of applicant, income proof, Minority Certificate/Affidavit) through their respective institutes to DHE office, UT. Without receipt of hard copy the application is liable to be rejected, Aadhaar Number is mandatory.
What will be the date of filling form for 2016 scholarship?
I had applied for fresh scholarship from Sept 2015. All my classmates had received but why not mine?
I had applied for scholarship last year in October. When will my scholarship be sanctioned?
