Rajiv Gandhi Cambridge Scholarship :
This scholarship is available to Indian students who apply to take a Masters or PhD in a subject within the field of Social Sciences.

Application:
Candidates should apply first to the University of Cambridge. Candidates who are offered conditional admission to the University and shortlisted for the scholarship may be invited to submit an additional application to the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation. (The Cambridge Trust will inform candidates if this is required.)

The Last Date for applications to the LLM in 2018-19 is 15 November 2017.

Rajiv Gandhi Foundation :
The Rajiv Gandhi Foundation was established in 1991, to realize the vision of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. He dreamed of a modern India, secular, independent and progressive; a country that enshrines the democratic principle of equality, and blends progress with rich cultural traditions.
He imagined a country with an educated people free of prejudice, where women participate as equals; a nation with the space and will to empower all citizens, and especially the underprivileged.

The Foundation works with the Cambridge Trust to offer the Rajiv Gandhi Cambridge Scholarship, for Indian students taking a Masters or PhD in a subject within the field of Social Sciences.

About Cambridge Trust :
The Cambridge Commonwealth, European & International Trust was established on 1 August 2013 from the merger of the Cambridge Commonwealth Trust and the Cambridge Overseas Trust. These were established as charities by the University of Cambridge in the 1980s in order to provide financial support for international students on degree courses at Cambridge.
