Scholarships are available for high achieving Indian students in undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programs at UQ

Eligibility

To be eligible for a UQ International India Scholarship for High Achievers, you must
** Be an Indian citizen residing in India
** Have an unconditional or a conditional offer
** Be a high achieving academic student

** Have completed your most recent studies at an approved Indian institution
** Not have already commenced your studies at UQ, even if you seek a change of program
** Not simultaneously hold another scholarship

** Commence study in the semester indicated in the UQ offer letter
** The scholarship does not include stipend or OSHC. Funds will be allocated in the form of a tuition fee deduction

Selection Criteria

UQ will select winners based on a competitive, merit-based process, based on :
** Candidates’ academic performance as demonstrated by their academic results – Grade Point Averages (GPA)
** Candidates’ one page supporting statement indicating how the UQ program of choice will create change and benefit their career

** Incomplete applications or applications which are found to be inaccurate, false or misleading will not be considered.
** UQ will notify applicants within three weeks of the scholarship closing date of the result of their applications.

How To Apply

** Lodge an official UQ undergraduate or postgraduate coursework application form either directly to UQ or through an official UQ agent.

** Receive a UQ Student ID Number and an unconditional offer (or a conditional offer providing that all conditions are met by the scholarship closing date).
** Complete and submit the application form using the application form link.

** Please note the application closing dates for each semester.
** To study in Semester 1, 2018 applications close 30 November, 2017
** To study in Semester 2, 2018 applications close 30 April, 2018
