S.S. Seshadri Memorial Scholarship :

This scholarship was instituted in honor of S S Seshadri (BITS 1992) who died in a tragic accident a few years ago. The first award was announced in the first semester of 2002-03. The scholarship sponsors full tuition fee for a III year student on merit-cum-need basis.

Note:
** The merit-cum-need based scholarship will be given to one student of BITS (Pilani campus).
** The scholarship will cover tuition fees for one year for the student.
** The student will be chosen by a Selection Committee consisting of faculty at BITS; a member of S S Seshadri’s family may be invited to join this committee.
** The student will be required to demonstrate financial need, this information will be gathered and processed by the Selection Committee.
** Academic performance in the previous year will be the primary criteria for selection of the student, once the student has demonstrated financial need.

Medha Pandey:
I am a third year Chemical Engineering student. I have served as Joint Secretary and Editor of the Chemical Engineering Association,BITS Pilani and I am also an active member of the Hindi Drama Club, BITS Pilani. This institution has given me an opportunity to explore and enhance my capabilities and flourish as an individual.

I am honoured to have been awarded the prestigious S.S. Sheshadri Memorial Scholarship and this has given me a great deal of motivation to consistently perform and excel at my academics. I am extremely thankful to BITSAA and express my gratitude to the donors for the same.

Ch Sampath:
I am currently in my 8th semester (Final Semester) at BITS Pilani. I was the 3rd Prize winner of Srikant Viswesvaraiah Analog Design Contest, conducted as a part of APOGEE – 2013. I am the Joint Secretary, EEE Association, BITS Pilani,Volunteer, NSS, BITS Pilani.

I am very happy to be a recipient of the prestigious S.S. Seshadri Memorial Scholarship. I sincerely thank you for providing me this kind of motivation to pursue my academics with enthusiasm. Finally, I thank BITSAA for giving me this opportunity to express my gratitude for the donor.

Pramod:
I am highly privileged to be a recipient of the prestigious BITS Pilani Scholarship. I am currently pursuing my 7th semester(“Psenti Sem” in BITSian terms). I wish to continue my streak of being regular and consistent in my academics at BITS as well as in my future.

I sincerely thank you for providing me the motivation to pursue my academics with enthusiasm. I feel grateful to you people every semester when I receive the scholarship. My humble request is to continue this lovely gesture to deserving students and usher in the much sought inspiration that young minds need today.
