Mrs. Satya Mehra Memorial Scholarship:
Sponsored By Air Chief Marshal (Retd) Op Mehra PVSM:
1. Ten scholarships each of Rs. 250/- per month have been instituted for wards of serving air warriors studying in classes V to VIII in Air Force Schools and KendriyaVidyalayas. These scholarships will be processed, screened and approved by AFAHO.

Institution Of Scholarships From Undergraduate:
Professional Courses For Wards Of Air Warriors:
1. The Air Force Association and the Marshal of the Air Force Trust have been in the field of operating scholarships and giving financial grants to Air Veterans and Air Warriors.
2. In an effort to further expand the ambit of financial grant to families, these agencies are now instituting ten scholarshipsfor wards of Air Veterans and Air Warriors. The amount of each scholarship will be Rs. 25,000/- per annum and will be at the undergraduate level for professional courses
Institution Of Scholarships For Wards Of Air Warriors:
1. The Air Force Association in conjunction with Marshal of the Air Force Trust announces the institution of ten scholarships for wards of Air Warriors/NCs(E)/DSC andAir veterans. The scholarships are for the duration of professional undergraduate courses.
2. The following are the salient features of the programme.
(a) Five scholarships are open for wards of Air Veterans only in the PBOR/NC(E) category.
(b) Five scholarships are open for wards of serving Air Warriors upto the rank of Sergeants/NC(E)/DSC.
(c) The scholarships will run on an annual basis, in that ten fresh scholarships will be initiated every academic year.
(d) Eligibility for scholarships is contingent on obtaining a minimum of 60% marks in the XII board exam and confirmed admission to a professional course in a AICTE / Med Council / UGC recognized institute/dental council of India.
(e) Eligibility for scholarships is for regular students only.
(f) The scholarship amount will be Rs. 25,000/- per annum for each child. The scholarship will continue for the stipulated period of the course. Continuation of the scholarship for the duration of the course will be subject to continued good academic performance of at least 60% marks in every academic year, not restricted by failure in a subject.
(g) The scholarships will operate on a merit cum need basis. Preference will be given to girl students.
(h) The AFA and the MIAF Trust will constitute a committee to vet scholarship requests.
(j) A guideline for eligible courses is placed at Appendix.
(k) The scholarships will commence from the academic session 2013-2014. The last date of acceptance of requests is 30 Oct 2013. This date will be the cut off every year.
(l) Names of successful candidates will be put out by 30 Nov. These names will be intimated by âKâ Broadcastand also put on the AFA Website. Individual intimation will be also be sent to the students who are selected. Disbursement of scholarships will be completed by 31 Dec of the year.
(m) Air Warriors and Air Veterans so desirous may apply to the Marshal of the Air force Trust and the Air Force Association respectively by due date.Forms for the same can be downloaded from the AFA Website.
Scholarships for wards of EX- IAF Personnel and Widows:
Air Force Association had instituted various Scholarship sponsored by the esteemed members of the Association. Recently four more Scholarships have been instituted by the Association. The updated lists of AFA Scholarships to be awarded to Orphans/ Wards of Ex-Air Warriors / Widows are appended below:-
Mrs & Sqn Ldr Pritam Singh (Retd) Scholarship Fund:
One Scholarship each of Rs. 600/- per month for the students of class XI and XII for a period of two years and shall coincide with the Academic year.
Shri Venkateswar Scholarship Fund (Sponsored by an anonymous officer) :
One Scholarship each of Rs. 250/- per month for the students of Class IX & X for a period of two years and shall coincide with the Academic year.
Mrs. Suwarna Chaudhary Scholarship Fund (Sponsored by Wg Cdr RK Chaudhary (Retd).:
One Scholarship each of Rs. 4,000/- per annum for the students (Girls) of Class XI & XII for a period of two years and shall coincide with the Academic year.
Mrs. Kamla Karir Scholarship Fund (Sponsored by Gp Capt Brij Mohan Karir (Retd). :
Two Scholarships of Rs. 4000/- each per annum, to the wards of Ex-Air Force Personnel/ Widows, will be awarded to the girl students of Class XI / XII.
Smt. Satbhawan & Shri Jamandas Ghuriani Memorial Scholarship (Sponsored by Wg Cdr SK Ghuriani (Retd).:
One Scholarship of Rs. 1000/- per month in a year, to the wards of Ex-Air Force Personnel/ widows, will be awarded on quarterly basis to the Engineering student on means cum merit basis, based on marks (60% minimum) in 12th Standard.
Shri Kundan Lal Scholarship (Sponsored by Ex-Cpl Vijay Dhall).:
One Scholarship of Rs. 5,000/- per annum, to the wards of Ex-Air Force Personnel / Widows, will be awarded to the student of Class XI / XII on means and merit basis.
Shri Kundan Lal, Smt Raj Dhall and Shri Jagdishwar Nath Kapoor Scholarship :
(Sponsored by Ex-Cpl Vijay Dhall) Three Scholarships of each of Rs. 1000/- per month for a year to the Wards of Air Force Personnel/ Widows, pursuing Engineering Courses in Colleges of Engineering in Delhi, on means cum merit basis, based on marks (60% minimum) in Class XII.
Smt Urmil Handa Scholarship (Sponsored by Ex-Sgt PP Handa) :
Two Scholarships each of Rs. 4000/- per annum for a year to the Girl Wards of Air Force Personnel/ Widows, pursuing on means cum merit basis, based on marks (60% minimum) in Class X & XI.
Note :
The application for Scholarship must reach AFA by 31 October every year.
Where should I get Registration Form of Undergraduate Professional courses Wg Cdr (Retd) RK Chaudhary Mrs Suwarna Chaudhary Scholarship Fund One Rs. 25000/-pa .
I searched a lot but didn’t get anything relevant. Tell me the way to easily access this education benefit ASAP.

Could you please let me know is there any scholarship for children who are pursuing higher education (MS) in abroad. Because my son is doing his MS (Civil) in Chocago-Bradley University. Once again my greetings to all on behalf of my family. Have a great day & Great Celebration.
