Scheme Details:
1. In the Government Order, orders have been issued for the sanction of War Service Incentive of Rs.450/- (Rupees four hundred and fifty only) per annum to the natural parents (father and mother) who had sent their only son/ daughter to the Armed Forces from Tamil Nadu.

2. In the reference second read above, the Additional Director of Ex.servicemen Welfare, Chennai 3 has sent proposals to the Government for the enhancement of War Services incentive from Rs.450/- per annum to Rs.1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) to those parents who have sent their only son / daughter to the Armed Forces and to sanction Rs.1500/- to those who have sent more than one son / daughter to the Armed Forces.

3. The proposal was recommended in the 61st meeting of Tamil Nadu Soldiers. Sailors and Airmen Board held on 4.6.1999

4. The Government after careful consideration of the proposal have decided to enhance the War Service incentive to those natural parents ( father and mother) who have sent their son / daughter to the Armed Forces (fighting forces in the Army, Navy and Air Force) till their life time
