Begum Hazrat Mahal Scholarship :

The Scheme of “Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship” for Girl Students belonging to the Minority Communities was earlier known as “Maulana Azad National Scholarship” Scheme.

Fresh Students :
** Students applying for scholarship for the first time need to “Register” on the portal as fresh applicant by providing accurate and authenticated information as printed on their documents in “Student Registration Form”. Before initiating registration process, students are advised to keep their Educational and other documents such as Aadhaar Number, Bank passbook etc.
** State of Domicile – Domicile state means state in which students have their permanent address.
** Students are required to provide their domicile state correctly as the “Registration No.” allotted to them will be based on domicile state and once allotted if cannot be changed under any circumstances.
** Only girl students belonging to six notified Minority Communities i.e. Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains and Parsis are eligible.
** Scholarship will be awarded to minorities’ girl students who are studying in Class 9th to 12th, and have secured at-least 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate in previous class.
** Annual income of student’s parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2.00 lakh. Students have to submit the Income certificate of parents/guardian that should be issued by the Competent Authority declared by the State Government/UTs Administration.
** Students are advised to submit only “One Application Form”. In case if students submit more than one application form then all the applications submitted by students will be considered as “Duplicate” and will be “Rejected”.
** Amount of scholarship will be credited directly into the Beneficiary bank account through DBT mode.

Note:
All columns must be filled. Write NOT APPLICABLE where necessary. Application received in an incomplete form or without supporting document will not be entertained.

All documents will be in Hindi/English version, which have to be sent by post along with printed Application form. It is absolutely necessary to give contact telephone number of the student; present School/College Telephone no. must also be given.

List of documents to be attached compulsorily for scholarship in Hindi/English Version as under:
** Student Photograph attested by the principal of present school/college.*
** Institution Verification Form attested by the principal of present school/college.*
** Self Attested Certificate of Marksheet of previous class as filled in form.*
** Income Certificate of parents/guardian to be issued by the competent Authority declared by the State Govt./UTs Administration. *
** Self declaration of minority community certificate by the student*
** Photo copy of the First page of Bank/Postal Account Passbook with, In the name of applicant (either single or joint account with her parents.*
** Photo copy of Aadhaar Card of the student.

Students Already Getting Scholarship:
Student getting scholarship under any scholarship scheme, being implemented by the Central/State Government shall not be eligible to get scholarship under this scheme.

Discontinuation/Cancelation Of Scholarship:
** Scholarship shall be deemed discontinued with any gap of academic session in studies at any time due to any reason; the awarded scholarship may be suspended or cancelled.
** No claim for fresh/renewal of scholarship will be entertained from those applicants who have failed to submit their application in the prescribed time limit.
** If student is found to have obtained scholarship by false statement/certificates, scholarship will be cancelled/suspended and the amount of the scholarship paid shall be recovered, at the discretion of the concerned State Government/UTs Administration.
