Applications are invited for AFST(I) Education and Publication Trust Scholarship from the students, who are in the Final year of Post-Graduation (2016-17) in Food Science/Technology. Prospective Students may download the Form-H (Application Form) and Form – G (Self Evaluation Score sheet for Scholarship).

Note :
** There will be 2 Awards for each geographical ZONE of our country (Total of 8 scholarships). ZONE wise list is appended below.
** Please note that only two applications should be forwarded by an Institute / Organization. If any Institute / Organization forwards more than 2 applications, all the applications will be rejected and would not be considered for the award.
** Form-H (Applications / Nominations) should duly be accompanied with Form G along with the appropriate documents.
The filled-in Application Form-H and Form – G along with supporting documents, duly forwarded by Head/ Principal of the Institution certifying that the student is a bonafide student of the Institution. Applications may please be sent to; The Honorary Secretary, Association of Food Scientists and Technologists (India), CFTRI campus, Mysuru – 570 020, India, on or before 5.00 PM on September 15, 2017..

Sir/Madam, you being inspiring & motivating educationist Kindly understand & come forward to inspire the depressed college going blind students education to make them self-dependent. spare just 2 to 3 minutes
Vidya Vikasa Trust, a registered charitable NGO approved by the Income Tax Dept., under Section 12 A (a) of Income tax Act 1961, came into existence 20 years back where the Financial Assistance to Vidya Vikasa Trust is exempted under 80 (G) of the Tax Act 1961. We will send the official receipt & the letter of acknowledgement within 2 days. With this only the Trust has given financial assistance to 1215 visually impaired students so far.
Sir/Madam, please do not forget Vidya Vikasa Trust as it is a donor’s Trust, yours also for helping blind students’ college education with dependency on donors. Some of them are depressed for non-payment of college fee arrears. Most of the parents of visually impaired students are farmers either unemployed or underemployed & it is in these conditions, they are desperate & Kindly think who will help them? Who will guide them? They are born blind. So, if you decide to help them, you can make them self-dependent.
Sir/Madam, donors to VVT are great leaders and reformers who believe in contributing and supporting for the good cause & their spontaneous and sincere support from them for the cause of awakening blind Students for self-dependence which gives them immense inspiration and helps us to go forward in our chosen path. Donation Online Bank Transfer: At present trust needs approximately an estimated amount of Rs.8,680/- for 1 student per year But Vidya Vikasa trust is able to award few students between Rs.4,000/- & Rs.5,000/- at an average per student there by students are not only getting sufficient financial assistance but also more a number of students are deprived even to get this small assistance. We have given our Banker’s details to which Donor can transfer the amount online Quoting PAN number while sending contribution.
In the past 18 years the scholarship benefit has been utilized by 1215 visually impaired students from students of various institutions.
In the past 20 years the scholarship benefit has been utilized by 1215 visually impaired students from students of various institutions like(i) Maharaja Govt., College, Mysore,(ii)Maharaja Govt College Mysore, from Bangalore includes (iii)Sheshadripuram College,(iv) APS College, (v)KLE .S. Nijalingappa College, (vi)Basaveshwara College Vijayanagar,(vii) SJRC College Race Course Road,(viii) Surana College South End Road ,(ix) Vijaya College, (x) National College, (xi) Girls Govt., P.U. College Hoskote, Govt., PU College, Malleswaram , Peenya, Varthur etc., .
Sir/Madam, Vidya Vikasa trust in addition to giving financial assistance to1215 visually impaired students, also (i)conducting Refresher free Classes to this especially abled Group (ii) non-commercialized education system(ii) to economically backward & poor normal students (iii) Science study circle by professors from the prestigious I.I.Sc. including, Dr. Raghunandan, Prof.B.S.Ramprasad , Dr.H.L.Bhat , Prof. Chidambaram , Dr.H.L.Bhat , Dr. Shiva Prakash, Prof.S.V.Subramanyam, etc.
Transparency: Vidya Vikasa Trust administration has maintained 100% transparency and even did not hesitate to invite Commissioner of Income Tax Department Mr. Arun Kumar ( I & CI) to preside over the 2020-21 Annual celebrations. In the previous year’s i.e., 2010-11 Trust has invited Sri.H.C. Anantharam Dy. Commissioner of Income Tax Dept., (ii) Mr. Krishna Murthy Dy. Com., of Commercial Taxes & in the year 2009-10 Sri. Nagendra Special Officer to Governor of Karnataka etc.,
