The major conditions of eligibility for filling up of online application can be seen at www.minorityaffairs.gov.in and frequently asked questions (FAQs) with regards to Time line/various activities relating to submission of application form can be seen on the NSP homepage of the website i.e. www.scholarships.gov.in.
The eligible students may apply through online on the website of common National Scholarship Portal of Govt. of India under URL www.schoarship.gov.in. as per above given timeline.
It may be ensured that the students those annual fee is less than Rs. 50,000/- there is no need to upload any documents on the web portal and the student whose fee is more than Rs. 50,000/- needs to upload all documents on the NSP portal.
Students must ensure that they may take printouts of duly filled application forms through OSMS, and submit the same alongwith all supporting documents i.e. residence proof, last class pass certificate, Aadhar No., Bank account in the name of applicant, Income proof, Minority Certificate/Affidavit) through the Institute.
The application will be verified at the NSP by the institute before forwarding it to the concerned authority. Aadhaar Number is mandatory.
About Institute :
Dr. Ambedkar Institute of hotel management, catering and nutrition, Chandigarh was set up in the year 1990 in a Government Sarai Building Sector 32-A, which was provided by the Union Territory Administration, Chandigarh .
It is one of the 51 Institutes to train young promising men and women to provide manpower for the hospitality industry. The institute was shifted from Government Sarai Building to its own building at Sector 42-D, Chandigarh on. 16th September 1996.
