Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt. of India Scheme & Govt. of Karnataka Scheme For Students belonging to the Minority Communities of Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis & Jains For students of 1st to 8th Standard only.

Conditions To Apply:
** Only Students who have scored not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination have to apply.
** In case of 1st Standard students, 50% marks requirement will not apply. Only the income criteria will be applicable.
** The annual income of the student’s parents/guardian from all sources should not exceed Rs. One lakh.
** All students have to furnish their bank account number and details without fail.
Documents to be enclosed :
** Photo of the student must be pasted on the first page of this application.
** Xerox Copy of the “Income & Caste Certificate” issued by Tahsildar only has to be furnished. Or
** Xerox Copy of the “Income Certificate” issued by Tahsildar along with self-certified religion certificate in a format uploaded on website. Or
** Xerox Copy of the “BPL Card” issued by Tahsildar along with self-certified religion certificate in a format uploaded on website.
** Xerox Copy of the Bank Pass Book (First Page) showing the Account No. Of the student, Student Name, Bank Name and Branch Address has to be enclosed.
** Bank account should be in the name of the student only.
** Xerox copies of previous year’s marks card, fee receipt for fee paid during 2015-16 to be attached.
** Students/Parents should not furnish bank account number of any other person (Parents/Guardians/Brothers/Sisters/ and also of Head Master) except the students.

beo office people return formats for small correction like scratching writing some times it happens but they argue as not even small mistakes many times we have to change full application it is time consumable and tension and leaving job and roaming for the same since the school return it to us stating beo office has returned. We received less amount we land up spending more on small things like affidavit,income certificate and standing in queue for hours together leaving and loosing days salary. For opening bank account for kids is also hectic job and if kid name is not in the ration card they return it so we feel it is better not to apply than going through all process which is money and time consumable
