BC/EBC Post Matric Scholarship :
This Scheme is implemented under the guidelines of Social Justice and Empowerment Ministry of Govt. of India.

All Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class students of Bihar pursuing recognized post matriculation courses in India in recognized institutions can get the scholarship provided their parents/ guardian’s income is not more than Rs. 1.00 lakhs ( one lakhs ) per annum.

Eligibility Criteria for Bihar Post matric Scholarship:
There are some eligibility conditions which must be fulfilled by the candidates in order to apply for Post Matric Scholarship in Bihar.

1) The candidates must be the resident of Bihar state. Submit the proof of residence like Domicile certificate
2) The candidate must be studying in any recognized institute of government /govt. aided in the Bihar state.
3) The candidate must belongs to Backward classed/ Extreme Backward classes- Submit Caste certificate
4) The candidates parent’s or family annual income should not exceed Rs. One Lac from all sources. The Income Certificate is required in this regard.
5)Two candidates from one parents are eligible to apply for Post Matric Scholarship in Bihar.

How to Apply for Scholarship :
The students will have to follow the step by step process for making registration to get the post matric scholarship in the Bihar. See the below given step by step process to submit the request for the stipend in the bcebcwelfare.bih.nic.in portal.

Step-1:
Go to the official website of https://web.archive.org/web/20200805015756/http://bcebcwelfare.bih.nic.in:80/ and go to the online application form where you have to fill the complete application form with the required information.

Step-2:
Applicants will have to upload the complete documents as for the educational qualification, income certificate, caste certificate and other supporting papers in the application form.

Step-3:
After filing the complete application form visit to the head office of your educational institution and handover it to the head person / master / principal with all hard copy documents.

Step-4:
After getting the application form through the applicant the institution head person will send the application for the verification and other process to the district development officer (DDO) before the last date.
